4/5 Stars (%78/100) I keep seeing comparisons between Boruto and Naruto (anime) about how Boruto is so peaceful and very slow-paced. In truth, Boruto's manga is super fast-paced. I mean in this volume planet-destroying aliens show up. I also get that this is supposed to be a continuation of Naruto. During the Chunin Exams, mysterious beings called Momoshiki and Kinshiki appear and threaten the village and the entire world. I really liked this volume in general.

5/5 Stars (%92/100) This is one of the best volumes in the series so far. The fight between Delta and Naruto was wonderful. You can see how experienced Naruto is in terms of combat. Getting beaten just to learn some information was hilarious. He would fight even better if the kids weren't there. The ending was also interesting as we see the members of Kara talking about Boruto, his Karma and Kawaki. Kawaki trying to learn ninjutsu was cute. It's Jiraşya and Naruto all over again. Brilliant volume!

5/5 Stars (%88/100) Definitely better than the previous one and a good way to end the first arc of the series. The relationship between Naruto and Sasuke is superb! They can understand each other and behave accordingly even without talking because they basically grew up fighting together so both of them know what the other is capable of. By the way, this whole arc is much better in anime than the movie because animated the thing from scratch and added a lot of things. The ending was also good and shows how Boruto will be different than Naruto.

5/5 Stars (%92/100) Despite many negative comments I've seen on the Internet, I actually enjoyed this volume a lot. The highlight of this volume was Naruto's new chakra mode and the fact that the chapter is titled "Sacrifice." We all know now that Naruto is going to die/disappear from the beginning of Boruto. We just don't know what is going to happen and many people thought that this is where Naruto is going to die. I still don't think Naruto and Sasuke can be killed but we'll see what happens in the future. The fight Isshiki comes to an end thanks to Naruto and his new Baryon Mode. We say farewell to a character we all loved and cared. The ending was actually great and I'm loving the relationship between Boruto and Kawaki. I'm curious to see what's going to happen next and now that Kishimoto is the main writer (I think), things might change.
