Book is perfect
Book is MUST READ piece for people who had problems in their relationship and also who are having.It could really level up your relationship or even make you arrive to certain conclusions where you can make right choices regarding your partner.
We all have different types of attachment styles and book talks about how certain style shows itself of in relationship and how certain attachment styles can't just click together.
Book is full of examples from various couples' experiences.It made me discover my attachment style and now I know how can I work it out in the best ways with my potential partners.
Highly recommended)

The book is about identifying emotionally immature parents and how to detect their effects in your adult life.As you might know,emotional imatturity of your parents reflects a lot in your adult life,especially your present relationships.
Since our society rarely talk about emotional intelligence and maturity.I believe it is something everybody could work on by reading this book and discover new things about yourself that you haven't known.
Almost 98% of population is not even aware of emotional maturity or EI.We are stuck in the patterns we have grown up with and we keep passing them down to future generations.
This book has mirrored many feelings that I have personally experienced, and I urge you to take action regarding this matter.
I never realized I grew up in a society that is so toxic and disrespectful of personal boundaries, inconsiderate and emotionally unintelligent.
We never questioned our parents, cause "they are older and they must be wiser " belief still exists, and young people spend lives never realizing what went wrong and why they lived unfulfilled lives.
We grew up with those people and we had a hard time saying 'NO' to them just because they are our family. We never realize how toxic our relationships got and
how enmeshed we were with it.
All in all, I truly believe emotionally intelligent and mature people will pass down mentally healthy and emotionally mature generations, and also they will keep emotional hygiene in the society which we lack so much.
In the beginning, I was not really getting the book,but coming to an end,I literally started feeling the book.I'm not a believer but book is so pure and captivating (parts of Ella and Shams,mainly)
Pure English is used in a book that makes it easier to grasp and read in a flow.It was a deep indulgence and now it requires some reflection to do on it.
It raises a lot of deep topics and topics we want to talk about our entire life.Many lines that are so true and relatable.I will read all books of Elif Shafak,that's for sure.
