Bizi iğnelerseniz kanamaz mıyız? Gıdıklarsanız gülmez miyiz? Zehirlerseniz ölmez miyiz? Ve bize kötülük ederseniz intikam almaz mıyız?

My Closest Companion Is My Loneliness

2026 1. kitabı
After finishing Notes from Underground, I was left not with the story, but with myself. It felt as if the book didn’t describe a character .it revealed the voice inside me. A person sometimes feels trapped not in a crowd, but inside their own mind. And I realized the most constant companion is neither memories nor friendships .it is loneliness itself. Perhaps the closest thing to a human being is the inner voice they must endure.

The Storm Within

2024 11. kitabı
There is no sea in this book; there is a human being. While reading the stories, you don’t see events-you see people’s loneliness, helplessness, and their silent struggle with fate. At one point in a story, I couldn’t continue reading; I had to put the book down. Because the author doesn’t merely tell - he makes you live it. Zeyyat Selimoğlu did not write about the sea, but about the storm inside the human soul.
