35 chapters and an epilogue so mid that you can't even hate what you just finished reading. i'm proud that i finished a book that's not in my native language. the author’s (?) language is very simple and that’s probably why it’s easy to read. my goal was to finish the book and then watch the movie to compare them, but when the film came out digitally, i was only halfway through the book. so, i finished the movie first and then read the second half of the book. the characters have more depth in the book; i can’t praise the film in any way. the only thing i can say is that ryle takes up less space in lily's life and that's a W
