A Critical Review of Humankind
Rutger Bregman’s book Humankind is one of the books that questions negative ideas about human nature and makes readers think. For many years, many people believed that humans are naturally selfish, bad, and only care about themselves. However, Bregman does not agree with this idea. According to him, human nature is not as dark as people think. Instead, people are more willing to help each other, understand others’ feelings, and do good things. In the book, the author supports these ideas with many examples from wars, psychology experiments, history, and biology. One of the best parts of the book is that it gives hope about humanity. Still, when I finished the book, I did not only feel admiration. On one side, I was happy to read it because it made me think differently. On the other side, some of the author’s ideas felt too optimistic to me. Because of this, the book was both interesting and questionable for me.
One of the strongest parts of the book is that it makes people question ideas about human nature that many accept without thinking. Today, we often see violence, murder, wars, and fights on television, social media, and in the news. After some time, people start to believe that the world is full of bad people. At this point, Bregman asks an important question: If humans were really bad by nature, how could societies survive for so many years? A big part of human history was shaped by helping each other, working together, and surviving together. From this side, the writer’s ideas are important and meaningful.

Hatta okula yeni gelen Vladimir adındaki bir genç akademisyen ve yazara takıntılı bir arzu geliştirmeye başlar.
Romanın en etkileyici kısmı ise yaşlandığını düşündüğü için sağlıksız bir beden algısı gelişmeye başladığını anlattığı yerler. Kadın en olumsuz, en kötü gününde bile cilt bakımını asla ihmal etmez:))))Giyimine kuşamına daha çok özen gösterir. Yemek içme konusunda da çok takıntılıdır. Çünkü gençlere karşı bir öfke vardır.
Romanda sonlara doğru gerilim iyice artıyor.
Aslında anlatıcı bu anlamda çok dürüst. Öfkesini,kıskançlığını,karanlık arzularını saklamıyor.

Çok karanlık,dark side diyebileceğimiz bir karakter. Bazen hak veriyor,bazen de dehşete düşüyoruz yaptıkları karşısında.
Romanda tatlı karakterler yok. Orta yaş krizi,şehvet,öfke ve kıskançlığın birleştiği sivri dilli bir eser. Sert gerçekçi kitaplar okumayı sevenleri böyle alalım.

I finished this series last night and loved it! Everything about it made me sad. The Junior Jedi Knights series was really important to me, and I'll tell you a little bit about it. I'm sad because they're beautiful, but that's not enough. I don't think it ever will be. Their first meeting in the book was beautiful. Tahiri and Anakin were very courageous. Luke scared Anakin a little when he explained where his name came from. The fact that his grandfather's name was also Anakin and that he was a Dark Lord became Anakin's greatest fear. The second book, The Lyric World, is wonderful, and I love all the characters. That book really made me wonder about Melodies. Anakin and Tahiri were wonderful in Promises. Learning about Tahiri's past and her decision to stay at the Jedi Academy was wonderful. The last three books were great, too. I read them quickly and enjoyed them. I really liked Uldir, but his

Ben bu seriyi ilk kez lisede, henüz basılmamış bir kuruyken wattpadde yayınlandığı bölümler kadarıyla okumuştum, geçen yıl son kitabı çıkınca da finalde ne oluyomuş diye merak ettim, kaldığım yerden devam edeyim dedim ve yıllar önce wattpadde okuduğum kadarının 2. kitabın ortasına kadar olduğunu tahmi ederek ikinci kitaptan başladım. Allahım yarabbim ergenliğimde nasıl bir rezilliği okuduğumu fark etmem bir yana okudukça kriz geçirdim. Ve nitekim benim sabrımın tasını taşıran post da tam da bu kriz geçirme sebebimle bağlantılıdır, bakın; bahsi geçen postta kurgu için "yok işte bu bi kurban ile katilin psikolojisini okuyucuya aktarma eseriymiş de, içindeki bütün o aşağılamalar, edizin kötü muameleleri ondanmış da öznur bunu bize çok gözel yansıtmış da..." argümanları sunuluyordu. Bakınız efenim, bu seri daha wattpadde amatör teri ile ergen kılları ıslanan bir kurgu iken yazar ve çevresi tarafından defaatle "bir kurban ve katilin cinayeti çözme yolculuğu" olarak tanıtıldı. the book tells the story of darren, an ordinary boy whose life takes a completely different turn after he secretly visits a freak show with his friends and makes a deal with a vampire. the story is both dark and intriguing. it features strange creatures, mysterious characters, and a very strong atmosphere, but the language is very simple and easy to read.
one of the things i loved most is that the characters actually behave like children. there’s no fake heroism—darren makes mistakes, gets scared, feels regret, and that makes him feel very real. especially towards the end, the events are quite intense; even though it’s a children’s book, it has a strong emotional side.
also, this is just the first book, and the series is quite long, but even the first book alone makes for a great introduction. it’s easy to read, but definitely not shallow. if you're looking for something gothic and gripping, i think you'll like it. give it a try.
