Part 2 of Chainsaw Man is called the Academy Saga which follows the life of Denji as a student and everyone's hero Chainsaw Man. This volume is more like an introduction to the new arc. Asa Mitaka and the War Devil are introduced. Asa seems like an interesting character but it's too early to decide. We don't see Denji much in this volume and instead focus on Asa's life. As a character, I don't find Denji very interesting but he is kind of "real" in the sense that if you are a famous hero, you would also get cocky and do some stupid stuff. We'll see what happens next.
