At some times...kings were conceived in the figure of Christ the son, at others in the figure of God the father. And in England...the king's government endowed him with all the attributes of divinity...Like God he was omnipresent, for in himself he constituted the "body politic" over which he ruled. But like the son...he had a "body natural"...and the two were inseparable like the persons of the Trinity.
