Tokyo’daki küçük bir kafede, belirli kurallar çerçevesinde geçmişe yolculuk yapma imkânı vardır. Ancak bu yolculuk çok kısa sürer: kişi geçmişe gittiğinde kahvesi soğumadan geri dönmek zorundadır. Farklı karakterlerin hikâyeleri üzerinden pişmanlık, özlem ve vedalaşma temaları işlenir.
In a small café in Tokyo, customers can travel back in time under strict rules. The journey, however, lasts only as long as the coffee remains warm. Through several characters’ stories, the novel explores themes of regret, longing, and the desire to reconnect with the past.
Yorum / Review:
Çok sade bir dille yazılmış, fakat okuması zaman zaman sıkıcı bir kitap. Hikâye fikri aslında fena değil; ancak bazı tutarsızlıklar ve ana karakterlerden birinin hikâyesinin anlatılmaması eseri oldukça eksik bırakmış. Roman olmaktan çok, sanki henüz tamamlanmamış bir taslağı andırıyor.
The book is written in a very plain style, which unfortunately makes it somewhat tedious to read. The central idea of the story is actually quite interesting, but certain inconsistencies and the absence of one main character’s storyline leave the work feeling incomplete. It reads more like a draft than a fully developed novel.
