Anime made me want to read the manga but I am still very fond of the anime than the manga. I am still trying to read the manga as it got really complicated especially in the latest volumes. However, the concept is really good and the characters are very complex and well written. You should definitely try it but I have to say that it is a bit overrated nowadays.
