4/5 Stars (%76/100) Thank the gods I've read the manga before watching the anime. Tokyo Ghoul is great both as manga and anime. However, I can't say the same for Tokyo Ghoul:re. The anime was extremely rushed so you miss a lot of important stuff. I HIGHLY SUGGEST you to read the manga first. The story continues after the events of Tokyo Ghoul and things get very complicated for Kaneki and others. It is obvious but read the original Tokyo Ghoul first. I've always liked Kaneki and his multiple personalities but Haise is especially interesting. In conclusion, it is a good continuation for the original manga and you should try it.
