This book has only two important character. But this characters also are a personality of our inner voices. One brave and tired the other warm and helpful. Our Fisherman “Santiago”, mocked person about his misfortune, is in psychological exhaustion. Devoted pupil “Manolin” has real respect and love to Santiago. I think Santiago’s leaving the port without Manolin means ,in real life, separation from our safe and warm zone to a journey that we must take in our lives to achieve our goals without anybody but ourselves. However, in that journey he became regretful about the idea of not to go to the fishing with Manolin so many times. Although it was tiring and hard, he did it all by himself. And he was able to say “i did it.” to a people who was making fun of him. If you brave enough to cope with your aims by yourself, you have right to go to bed with inner peace.
