Ergün Arıkdal (21 Kasım 1936 - 6 Ocak 1997), Türkiye’de metapsişik alanda birçok konuda “ilk”lere imza atmış, Türkiye Metapsişik Tetkikler ve İlmi Araştırmalar Derneği’nin en uzun süre başkanı olmuş metapsişik araştırmacı, yazar, manyetizör, operatör(hipnotizör) ve medyum. 1950’li yıllarda İstanbul Erkek Lisesi’nde, 1957 ile 1961 arasında İstanbul Üniversitesi İktisat Fakültesi’nde, 1970’li yıllarda İstanbul Üniversitesi Psikoloji Bölümü’nde öğrenim görmüştür. Metapsişik alanın yanı sıra Tasavvuf'a ve Platon felsefesine ilgi duymuştur. Türk spiritüalistlere göre Türk Metapsişiğini Bedri Ruhselman’ın açtığı yoldan emin adımlarla ilerletme görevini başarıyla yerine getirmiştir. Metapsişik alanda yaptığı başlıca işler 1967-1997 yılları arasında T.M.T.İ.A.D.’nde başkanlık görevinde bulundu. 1961-1974 yılları arasında, Sadıklar Planı adıyla yayımlanan tebligatın medyumluğunu yaptı. 1992’de metapsişik alanda yayın yapan bir radyo istasyonu kurdu (Meta FM 105.6). 1994 BİLYAY’ı (İnsanlığı Birleştiren Bilgiyi Yayma Vakfı) kurdu. Birçok kitap ve makale yazmış, çevirilerde bulunmuş, çeşitli televizyon ve radyo kanallarında metapsişiği tanıtmış, sayısız konferans vermiş, çeşitli uluslararası konferans ve seminerlere katılmış ve konuşmalarda bulunmuştur.
