Clearly, one way to be an Anti-Humean is to just reject the Desire Thesis. So this would in effect be saying:
In order for a person to be motivated to perform a particular action, the person does not need to have a desire to perform the action.
But now we have also seen a second way to reject the Humean theory, which is to say that:
A desire to perform the action must be present, but by itselfit does not have to be what motivates the person to act.
