This is another beautiful poem by Langston Hughes. I've read it dozens of times like "I, Too." The imagery is beautiful, the subtle use of language and symbols make the poem very sad but also hopeful. The illustrations in this picture book were really good, it is similar to what I've imagined the poem to be.
