It took me around one month to finish this book because it clashed with my exams and homework, but I read a large portion of the book in a couple of days. I think the book was compelling and I also loved how intimate the relationship became, and Evangeline slowly admitted that she wanted Jacks (I was really confused until she did because she didn't stop calling Apollo her husband??).I actually had a hard time understanding what Jacks truly felt throughout the book. Was he pretending to love her to make her stay, or pretending not to love her because they weren't supposed to be together??
I need to read the 3rd book asap because I hated that the book ended with Evangeline losing her memory and Apollo telling her, "I am your husband." Hated that guy. Anyway, I cannot wait for it to be released, and I really want Eva and Jacks to have the happily ever after they deserve..
Overall I had a fun time reading it and I think you will also like it if you're looking for some excapism.
