As someone who is still in the learning process, this book was a true gem.
My teacher always used to tell me, “Copy, copy, copy.” At first, I didn’t understand what he meant. I kept thinking, “Do I look stupid? Am I not good enough to create something new?"
After many moments of confusion, he eventually explained why he insisted on this approach. Still, it didn’t fully click for me until I read this book. Suddenly, everything made sense.
The book opened up new perspectives for me, it changed the way I think about style, influence, and creativity. It also offers practical tips on how to transform inspiration into something different and personal. Reading it was an absolute pleasure, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is learning, creating, or questioning their own process.
