Haruki murakami tells us 2 different stories in his work called kafka on the beach and these are intertwined in the following parts. The first of these is Kafka Tamura, who ran away from home to escape his father's prophecy. He left school and went to another city. He wanted to do something on his own and started working in a library. He met many people during his journey. Oshima, Sakura and Ms. Saeki are the main characters. The second subject is about sixty-year-old Nakata, who lost all her memory during a school trip in her childhood and lost consciousness and fell into a deep coma.
He lives alone in an apartment in the Nagano region.

This book came from a very important person to me, I got it 3 days ago and when I started reading, I tried to guess the subject, it's a lie
I can't say. But it is not known because I guessed the subject in a very different way, it was still a book that I thought I would like it so much, I said it would be a cookie for me, I was wrong.

if cats disappeared from the world sounds like a sad, philosophical kind of book, but it’s actually very easy to read. the idea is this: one day, you’re faced with the possibility of losing the ordinary things in your life, and in that moment you realize how valuable they really are. so, instead of asking “would the world be dull without cats?”, the book is more about asking “what truly matters in life?”
the author tells the story in a simple, approachable way—definitely not pretentious. while reading, you find yourself thinking, but also smiling here and there. it doesn’t feel like the book is lecturing you; it’s more like having a casual chat with a friend.
in the end, it’s not overly dramatic, but it leaves you with a gentle warmth that lingers. whether you have a cat or not, you’ll see a piece of yourself in the story. and when you close the book, the first thought that pops into your head is: “life really is made beautiful by the little things.”

I'm obsessed with this book. Everything about it is magnificent ️. I'm afraid I can't express my feelings right because of the perfection of the book. I love Japanese literature, especially for the cat theme. the authors place the cats in such an appropriate way that you're sure the plot will be nonsense without cats. I love books about cats, especially magical realism. All the characters in the book combine in an astonishing way, which makes me speechless . I've loved the astrology theme in the book, too. It's taught me so many important things about life. This book is life changing and perfect PLEASE READ IT IMMEDIATELY
