Wow
A man, Charlson, invited his son to look out of the window at a rat in the river below, whereupon he hit his son on the head with a mallet and threw him out of the window. This may look superficially like a clear-cut case of insanity, but it was decided that he was suffering from automatism when it was revealed that the man had a brain tumour.

It's puzzling to see that perspectives change the whole story. Also, maybe free will is not so free
Perpetually I dream about us changing drastically. Never I had known anyone, that made me feel like I am the one. So when the unavoidable comes, time will eat us within our guts. And I'll carry your fingerprints on my body, like an ache in my belly. My devils would whisper me, you made your hell, he sleeps just fine unlike thee. Selling your soul, was it worth it for a boy? And I'll answer; what would I do with that soul without a purpose? That boy gave me joy and life full of liveness.

I liked these lines...
