Fransızlar neden insan gibi konuşmaz ki?
I had already read The Adventures of Tom Sawyer before, and Huckleberry Finn was one of the characters in that book. Because of that, I became curious about him and wanted to read Adventures of Huckleberry Finn as well.
After I started reading, I realized that I really enjoyed the humorous style of the book. The language and the dialogues made the story more interesting and enjoyable for me.
Adventures of Huckleberry Finn was published in 1884 and is considered one of the major works of American Realism. Unlike Romantic literature, Twain focuses on ordinary people, realistic language, and social problems. Through Huck’s journey, the novel reflects important issues of 19th-century American society such as racism, slavery, violence, religious hypocrisy, and social inequality. Twain also satirizes romantic adventure stories, especially through the character of Tom Sawyer.
The novel follows Huck Finn, a young boy who escapes from his abusive father and travels along the Mississippi River with Jim, an escaped enslaved man. During their journey, they meet many different people and experience both humorous and serious situations. Through these adventures, Huck begins to question society’s values, racism, religion, and morality.
Huck also starts to test the religious teachings of Miss Watson and Widow Douglas. He does not fully accept everything that society and religion teach him, and throughout the novel he tries to understand what is morally right by himself.
Mark Twain mainly criticizes romanticism and unrealistic adventure stories. Tom tries to behave like the characters in books, while Huck thinks more realistically and questions these ideas. Samantha Franco ile ilgili tüm gerçekleri öğrenince başta ondan uzaklaşır ama zamanla daha doğrusu kitapta yaşanan ikinci trajediyle birbirlerinden ayrı yaşayamayacaklarını anlarlar. Böylece çıkmaya başlarlar.
Ben ilk kitabı nedense daha çok sevdim. İkinci kitap fazla dram yüklüydü. Ve bu yazarın okuduğum iki kitabıyla şunu anlıyorum ki yazarın karakterlerinin özellikleri neredeyse birbirine benzer sadece olay kurgusunu hafiften değistiriliyor. Özellikle erkek karakterleri çok benzer. Ve neden okuduğum iki kitabında sonu bebekleri oldu şekliyle bitmek zorunda. Bu son bana yazarın okuyacağım bir sonraki kitabın sonunun nasıl biteceğini açıkça söylüyor.
Yazarla ilgili sevdiğim tek şey karakterlerinin nasıl seveceğini bilen karakterler olmasıydı. Asla zorla yanında tutma, zorlama ve takıntılık yoktu. Tamamıyla sevgileri hoş ve imrendirici.

John Taylor is an English computer programmer. He lives in Budapest, Hungary, with his wife, Andrea, and his daughter, Kati.
One day, John is very surprised. He sees a man who looks exactly like him. This man is his doppelgänger (a double). John sees this man many times, but the doppelgänger never speaks. John is worried and confused.
John tries to find the truth about this mysterious man. He does some research and asks people questions. His wife, Andrea, is worried about John because he thinks about the double too much.
Finally, John learns the truth: The man who looks like him is not alive. He is the ghost of a Hungarian man named Janos Szabo. Janos Szabo died many years ago, in 1956, when he was brave and saved a woman and a child during an explosion.
Janos Szabo's ghost did not come to hurt John. He came to warn John. The ghost shows John that his wife and daughter, Andrea and Kati, will be in danger near the place where Janos died.
John understands the message. He is very determined and brave. He takes action and saves his family from the danger. The book shows that love and courage are strong enough to protect the people we love, even from death or danger.

Radyo tiyatrosu, bir tiyatro oyununun radyo yayınına uyarlanmış versiyonunu ifade eder. Bu tür bir format, izleyicilere görsel bir sahne veya efekt olmaksızın, yalnızca karakterlerin seslerini dinleyerek hikayeyi anlama fırsatı sunar.
Dünyada ilk radyo tiyatrosu 15 Ocak 1924 tarihinde yayınlanan Richard Hugs'un A Comedy of Danger adlı eseridir. Dünyada radyonun tarihi kadar eski olan radyo tiyatrosu Türkiye'de 1940 ile 1946 yılları arasında yaygınlaştı.
Ekrem Reşit Rey, Haldun Taner, Behçet Necatigil gibi ünlü romancı ve şairler de ilk radyo oyunu yazan isimlerdendir.
Malina romanında dolayı çok sevdiğim yazarımızın kitabına gelecek olursak. Kitap 3 adet radyo oyununda oluşuyor. Bunlar; Bir Düş Alışverişi, Ağustosböcekleri ve Manhattan'ın İyi Tanrısı.
Kitapta en çok son oyunu beğendim. Lirizm dolu bir oyundu.
İlk öykü kurgu olarak çok iyiydi. İkinci öyküde uzun diyaloglardan dolayı biraz zorlandım.
Yazarımız insanın kendisini anlatmış. Diyaloglar uzun olsa da kitap gidiyor
Konusu:
Samantha iki haftadır şirketin sahibi Franco Vitale için asistanlık yapmaktadır. Bu iki haftada çok zorlanmıştır ve patronu da kendisini zorlamıştır. Yaptığı işi beğenmediği bir gün daha iyisi olacağına söz verir. Ertesi günü işler onun için daha iyiye gitmektedir. Samantha yaşadığı korkunç olaydan sonra erkeklere güvenini kaybetmiş panik atak hastası olmuştur. Bunu yenmek için terapiyi denemiş fakat maalesef başarılı olamamıştır. Erkekler ile tekrar yakınlaşmak için Paradiso adlı kulübe üye olur. Kulüpte karşılıklı erkekle konuşmak tek isteğidir. İkinci kez kulübe gittiğinde oda seçeneğini seçmiştir ve yine konuşmak istemiştir fakat gelen rastgele adam fermuarını açınca Samantha panik atak krizine girer. Atak sırasında ona yardımcı olan maskeli adam ise Franco Vitale'dir.
Kitabın içeriğine hiç bakmadan yorumları okumadan okudum bu yüzden şaşırdığım yerler çok oldu. Bu kitabı ilk kitaptan daha çok sevdim. Franco gibi bir adamın panik atak yaşadığı asistanına yardımcı olması ve gündüz olan lanet adam kimliğinden sıyrılıp şefkatli, özenli adama dönüşmesini okumak çok güzeldi. Samantha'ya karşı çok sabırlı davrandı ve onun iyileşmesine yardımcı oldu. Samantha'nın yaşadıkları çok ağırdı ben bu kadarını düşünmemiştim açıkçası. Gerçekleri öğrendikten sonra da tepkileri çok yerindeydi. En azından Franco'yu dinledi mantıklı davranmayı seçti. Franco'yu çok sevdim. Ben bu yazarın erkekleri yazış seklini sevdim açıkçası. Mafya evet ama kadınlarına çok güzel davranıp el üstünde tutuyorlar.Seriye üçüncü kitap ile devam ediyorum zaten kısaymış.

harkat plays a crucial role again. his presence, the clues to his past, and his bond with darren become much more defined in this book. and of course, there's steve. the moment he enters the stage, everything changes. every line he speaks carries a threat, every move he makes is a ghost from the past. his presence isn’t just about being an enemy — it forces darren to confront himself.
perhaps the most striking part of the book is that there's no place left to run. there are choices, but none are easy. darren doesn’t just step into the role of a hero — he’s scared, angry, uncertain. and yet, he keeps going. that’s what makes him strong.
the pacing is once again masterfully done. the tension builds gradually, but then it spikes so suddenly that it becomes hard to breathe. and the ending… is utterly devastating. maybe not physically, but emotionally, it hits like a hammer.
lord of the shadows feels like a farewell to childhood. the fairytale ends, and only the truths remain. but that’s what makes it so powerful, so moving.
