Alıntılarıma ve mesajlarıma İngilizce konusunda zorluk yaşayanlardan birden fazla yorum aldım. Ama ben bu kitabın İngilizce versiyonunu okudum ve dolayısıyla incelememi de İngilizce yazmak istiyorum. Bu yüzden bu konuda zorluk yaşayanlar incelememi okumak zorunda değiller.
So, I didn’t discover Anne of Green Gables until I watched Netflix adaptation Anne With an E. And I loved it so much and I thought that I had to read the book version of it. I’m glad that I did.
Anne is such a charming character. She is imaginative, a little bit dramatic with everything she says. She can tell in pages about her experiences during that day. And still it wouldn’t feel bored.
I loved almost all of the characters. Trusty Diana, sensible Marilla, talkative Rachel-who is also reminds me our neighbor- and quite but heartwarming Matthew. Oh, and of course Gilbert Blythe how can I forget about him! But unfortunately, we can’t barely see Gilbert in this book.
Lastly, I felt shocked when I read last chapter. I mean what the hell!!! It isn’t the ending that I’ve been waiting for. It is really surprising when you compare the show and the book.
Overall, this is still great book and I highly recommend it.
