In this quiet, intermittent state, I find myself in a place where I gradually become invisible. I am neither fully present nor fully absent; yet I am, in every sense, left incomplete.
What we call communication loses its meaning when it is confined to moments that suit only one side. I cannot remain in such a place. I do not stay within any arrangement that diminishes my sense of self.
If there is to be a bond, it must exist through the presence of two. Otherwise, I will choose to step back—silently.
