I have read both English and Turkish translations of Anabasis which I enjoyed tremendously since most of the march passes through the lands of today's Turkey; my beloved country. Having already seen/visited most of the locations on the route, it gave me an extra excitement while reading this great book. Referred to Internet many times and took notes while reading for further information on the persons, locations, tribes/peoples etc. mentioned.
