The last poetry book I read by Whitney Hanson is now finished. Like her other two poetry books, this one was also an easy-to-read poetry book. Its English was understandable, and it flowed effortlessly. It wasn't a poetry book I would call extraordinary or one that deeply impressed me. However, as someone who doesn't read much poetry, I liked the book. Its readability and clarity are, in my opinion, its strong points. But the constant repetition of certain things and addressing the same topic over and over again became a bit boring after a while. I can’t help but wonder if it really needed to be stretched out this much, but it's poetry—who am I to decide that?
