Sangu Mandanna, bir filin onu kovalaması üzerine ilk hikâyesini yazdığı ve hayatta ne yapacağına karar verdiğinde henüz dört yaşındaydı. Bundan on yedi yıl sonra Frankenstein’ı okudu. Bu, onu bir yazı yazma çılgınlığına itti ve ortaya, aşk, ölüm ve bu ikisini birbirine bağlayan bağ hakkında yazdığı Kayıp Kız adlı romanı çıktı.
Sangu, İngiltere’de kocası ve iki küçük çocuğu ile birlikte yaşıyor.
