Biri bana Plot Twist bölümünden sonra (19) Taylor Swift - This Love dinlemeye başlamamı söyleseydi keşke.
Okuduğum ilk Jewel kitabı.
Okurken yıkıldığım ve kaldıramadığım, çocuk gibi geri eski haline gelmesini istediğim bir olay oldu.
O olaya kadar kitabı nefes almadan okuyordum.. o kadar *özgün* dü ki... İçinde dram olduğu halde hem eğlenceli hem de gülümseten bir kitaptı.
Gus ve Parker yan yana gelince heyecanlanmadan olmuyordu. Gülmeden, güldürmeden geçen hiçbir sahneleri yoktu.
19. bölümden sonra kitaba neden bu adın koyulmuş olduğunu çok iyi anladım.
Neden bu kadar yıkıldığımı bilmiyorum. İnat ettim Levi'yi sevmeyeceğime bi'de. Gus'dan sonra Levi'ye içim ısınmaz dedim. Komik olması gereken yerlerde bile gülümsemedim.
Ama, yazarın yetenekli olduğunu işte burada anladım. Kitaba devam ettikçe, 338 sayfada iki karakter birden nasıl sevdirilebilir? sorusunun cevabını buldum. Gus'ı ayrı. Levi'yi ayrı sevdim. Lanet olsun.
O kadar güzel bir kurguydu ki... Okuyanların dilinden düşürmediği *today is my favorite day* cümlesini söylemek istemiyorum bu arada ama cidden hoş...

Ciddiyim bütün planlarım suya düştü. Sanki komplo planları yapmıştım ve hepsi mahvoldu.
Normalde planladığım gibi gitmeliydi. İşte burada yazarın yeteneği ortaya çıkıyor. Her yiğidin harcı değil bir kitapta iki kişiyi okuyucuya sevdirebilmek. İmkansız.
İmkansızı başarmış ve şu an ağlamak istiyorum.
