Eser 18.yy ı realist bakış açısıyla yansı tmasıyla birlikte, o dönemdeki eserlerden farklı olarak sıradan bir insanı protagonist ele almış. Defoe nin gercek bir olay üzerine eseri oluşturması ona artı bir inandırıcılık katmış ve cok cok fazla ayrıntıya yer verilmiş.
In my opinion it's a perfect novel. The American early life,racism and slavery were described widely.Mark Twain criticized the slavery in that period 'cause the nobles defended the equality.In fact, Mark Twain reviewed the inequality in equality.
