4/5 Stars (%80/100) Everyone on the Earth is turned into stone by a mysterious light. The story revolves around our protagonist called Senku İshigami who is a genius and very knowledgable about science. When he is unpetrified, he tries to survive in order to unpetrify every human being on the Earth. What Dr. Stone does best is to present very complex science stuff in a very a fun way so even if you are not fan of science, you still remember many things. Senku's character is brilliant and also his conflict between Tsukasa is very interesting. Definitely a good read, and also the anime is brilliant. Manga chapters 1-7

4/5 Stars (%80/100) The conflict/fight between Tsukasa and our heroes ends in this volume. We learn more about Senku and what he did after his revival. One of the things I liked the most is just how casual Senku is about counting while being petrified. The prologue saga ends and the new saga is about the Ishigami Village. This saga is mostly about Senku trying to create a Kingdom of Science for the future. I really liked the volume in general. The interaction between Senku and Tsukasa was great. I've always loved witty and very smart characters.

4/5 Stars (%77/100) We are introduced to a bunch of new characters when Kohaku takes Senku to the outskirts of the village. One of those characters is a boy named Chrome who is into science. The conversation between him and Senku is brilliant. There are many comedic elements and they don't feel exaggerated or overused in my opinion. In this volume, we also meet Asagiri Gen, a trickster type character and he is definitely one of my favorite characters in the whole series. The science stuff and explanation is pretty heavy at first but you get used to it. It is funny but I learned a lot of things from Senku throughout the series.

4/5 Stars (%79/100) Pretty good volume overall. I love how excited Chrome is about all this new science stuff Senku tries to get and how he tries to impress him as the "sorcerer." To create the Kingdom of Science, Senku needs as many allies as possible and he can't do it without first curing Ruri, the priest village and Kohaku's sister. So, he is still trying to create a drug to cure Ruri. Meanwhile, he crafts many important tools to work. I am excited about the upcoming fight tournament.

5/5 Stars (%90/100) This is probably my favorite volume so far. The Grand Bout was great. The fights are intense but super silly as well. Chrome is actually super despite looking and acting like an idiot. The ending of this volume is also brilliant as we learn many things about this stone world and the village itself. Senku is hilarious as always. Inagaki never fails to make you laugh in every chapter. After finally learning some important things (which I'm not going to spoil), I am very curious about what happens next.

5/5 Stars (%86/100) It was a really good volume. In the previous volume, we learned that Senku's father was one of the people who created the village hence the name Ishigami. Also, he was part of a group of astronauts who observed the petrification from space. In the beginning of this volume, we learn more about the creation of the village, Byakuya and his crew and more. This volume also marks the beginning of a new saga: Stone Wars (Kingdom of Science versus Tsukasa Empire). Dr. Stone's second season just started and it is dedicated to this saga.

5/5 Stars (%88/100) The preparation for Stone Wars finally ends with this chapter. Senku decided to make cellphones in order to be one step ahead of Tsukasa in the previous volume and this book is mostly dedicated to gathering materials and creating scientific stuff for the cellphone. It is a very small detail but I loved that Senku wrote the date when he is released from the petrification on a tree and that Gen really respects him for this. With the preparations done, the Stone Wars will begin in the next volume.

4/5 Stars (%80/100) While Tsukasa is reviving a bunch of strong and useful people, Senku is creating scientific tools like a cellphone and a freaking car. I have to admit that Tsukasa is very smart because he guessed that Senku would create vehicles to fight him. We know that Tsukasa is absurdly strong and he has more people as strong as him like Hyoga. Seeing Taiju and Yuzuriha after so long was really good. There are also new characters introduced from Tsukasa's army like Ukyo the sonar guy. I liked the book in general. I think it was a good way to start this war. I'm curious to see what Senku creates next.

5/5 Stars (%90/100) The heated battle between the two factions continues and many people from Tsukasa's army change sides. There are certainly interesting characters among them like Nikki and Ukyo. Meanwhile, Senku creates new scientific tools and weapons like it's nothing since he has most of the basic materials. Eventually, the battle ends, and the factions decide to merge. The ending was great so I don't want to spoil it. It was a great volume in general.

4/5 Stars (%74/100) In the previous volume, after Tsukasa admits defeat and decides to join the Kingdom of Science, Hyoga betrayed him so the first few chapters are about Hyoga and our heroes. Later, many people are depetrified and one of them is a great sailor named Ryusui. Senku also has crazy ideas like ships, air balloons and more. I kind of like where the story is going but there are too many characters and I can't follow them. The pacing is a bit faster than usual.
