Puanım 5/5 (%94/100) Yaklaşık 3.5 yıl sonra tekrar God of Highschool okumak güzeldi.

5/5 Stars (%88/100) I have to start by saying that this volume is actually not over yet. It starts with chapter 308 which was released back in 2017! The comic/manga/mahnwa still continues but it bothers me everytime I open my Goodreads account and see GOH Volume 6 stuck at %99 progress. I'm pretty sure my ideas will not change drastically when this volume is over but if it does, I'll update my review. The latest chapter I've seen released is 485 and I'm not sure how many months or years the author will continue this volume. The story continues after the world's ending and Mujin and his lackeys step in to change the world for the good. Mori and Taejin Jin along with some others branded as traitors while Mujin becomes the first-ever World President. The story opens up with this I have to say I hated this new world and characters at first. It was a slow start but soon we are introduced many I mean many interesting characters like Dean. It is obviously impossible to cover almost 200 chapters in one review but there are many arcs in this volume. Most of them I liked but some felt weird and not satisfying. However, it is still one of the best volumes out there. Mori Jin's character is also improved and even though I was hesitant at first, I really liked it. It is also good to see some "old" characters from the previous volumes because the events takes place in the future. In short, it starts a bit slow and feels unsatisfying but if you endure, it is really great. The only bad thing is to wait for a new chapter every week...

4/5 Stars (%77/100) If not for the ending, this would be 5 stars easily (I'll get to that in a bit). There are 3 major arcs in this volume and I believe this is the longest volume ever. The first arc is the World Tournament arc and I really liked the characters and fights in this arc. Martial arts came back and some people were using them in combination with Borrowed Power. Mori Hui character was enough for me to give this 5 stars. Though it was really interesting the world tournament does not last long. The "God" aspect of this series becomes even more important in this volume. Ritual Arc is the one where all the fights take place. The gods were super interesting in my opinion. I especially liked Odin from the start (as a fan of Norse mythology) and he became even more interesting. The design and characteristics of those gods were great. The fights were on planet-busting level (Dragon Ball Z). The next and final arc in this volume is actually what made me dislike the volume. I liked the twist with R and I find him really interesting as a character. However, there is another twist at the end which I really disliked. It felt like the author wanted to continue the series and tried to find something to make it interesting. If the series ended with this volume, I would not have any problems. I don't want to get into any more details because I want you to experience it yourself. In short, it was a good volume in general but there are some serious problems with the last arc and the ending.

4/5 Stars (%80/100) Even though the volume's title is World Competition, it does not happen in this book, unfortunately. The majority of this volume is dedicated to Consolation Match Arc and I have to say I really liked it. We return to martial arts (it seems the author listens to the readers' opinions) and meet a variety of new characters. Most of these characters are stereotypical but they are still funny and interesting. I especially liked the Japanese team and maybe Macedonian. There is also a big discrepancy between the real and copy in this volume. Jin's copy is sent from the Sage Realm and he replaces Mori. At first, he talks only about being a copy but slowly he becomes his own person. The author makes you question certain things such as: If the real does not exist anymore do you (as the copy) become the real or not. There is also another character who suffers the same fate as Mori Hui (the copy's name). I really liked this volume in general and I think it was much better than the previous one. At the end, the world competition finally begins and I am sure the next volume will be great since it is titled "Ragnarok."

3/5 Stars (%64/100) I must admit I am quite disappointed with this volume. I'll try to explain the things I liked and I disliked briefly without going too much into detail to prevent spoilers. (I mean there will be spoilers obviously) Here are some of the things I disliked: -I really really hated that the author kind of abandoned martial arts. Everyone uses their borrowed power and those without OP (overpowered) borrowed power either dies or loses constantly. He kind of returned to them towards the end of the volume so maybe we'll see it more later. -The fights are too long and no one really wins or loses. People keep getting powerups during the fights but the fights do not really end, they are often delayed. -I don't really like Sujin Lee and her origin story and justification to attack Mori. There are other things but these are the major ones I have problems with. Here are some things I liked: -Mori's true identity and his new powers. -The fact that humans can now attack the gods and heaven (the taboo is broken) and Nox is more powerful because their faith and communication with gods also increased. Even though I didn't really like the whole god thing but this was cool. -Some borrowed powers are really cool and creative. -I like that the glasses guy with the bat is getting more power and recognition. Well, I wanted to keep it short. This is my review for this volume and the next arc is the GOH World Tournament which should be interesting.

5/5 Stars (%88/100) This volume is kind of a special one compared to the others. It was short but it is interesting to learn more about Mori's grandfather Taejin. He is very similar to Kenpachi from Bleach, in my opinion, and I really liked the fight scenes and his character in general. On top of that, we learn the origin of Mori which was quite surprising to me. I want to see more of Taejin and his fights especially against Mori or together with him. He is hyped a lot so I hope it won't be a disappointment later on.

5/5 Stars (%97/100) This volume is almost twice as long than the previous one. However, it was super easy for me read and I could not drop it since it was very captivating. The story continues and the national competition starts. Jin and his friends (Daewi and Mira) need to compete with people as strong as them or even stronger. The fight scenes were phenomenal, probably better than the previous ones. We are introduced to Charyeok or Borrowed Power which is very similar to Stand from JoJo's Bizarre Adventures. At first I was hesitant about this power system but the author handled it pretty well and I really liked them in the fights since they are related to mythology. The plot is much more interesting now and the characters are complex and constantly changing. In short, it was a brilliant volume and I can't wait to read the next one.

5/5 Stars (%95/100) The God of Highschool is a webtoon or basically Korean graphic novel/comics. It is also very similar to Japanese manga. I learned about GOH because of the ongoing anime (6/13 episodes released already) The anime is super fun to watch because of its great animation, pure humour and brilliant music. I can safely say that the webtoon is even better. The lore of GOH is presented by the author in a fun 4th wall breaking way. The fights are much more detailed and I love the funny chibi drawings which remind me of Magi: Labyrinth of Magic. I have a lot of good things to say but probably nothing negative. The art style is beautiful and unique, the fight scenes are drawn perfectly that you can feel the punches and kicks, the plot is interesting enough to make you continue reading, the humour is great and it is easy to understand and enjoy. The first volume of GOH includes episodes 1 to 41. I also recommend the anime after reading the webtoon.
