Our emotions are messengers....
Jealousy shows you what you are afraid to lose. Envy shows you what you deeply desire. Anger shows you where you feel violated and powerless. Anxiety shows you where you crave certainty or control. Our emotions are messengers even "the bad ones" can be incredibly helpful, if we actually lean in and listen. We don't need to push them away and we don't need to immediately react to them. But rather slow down, lean in, and ask "what might this feeling be showing you about you". Quinlan Walther

About Gale (major spoilers)
I'm listening Hunger Games again. I'm at the part where they beat Gale. And hearing Gale's name over and over reminds me why I don't like him.. Like I was thinking about how they will have to say he was Katniss's cousin. And then I thought how he was in love with her and how Katniss didn't want to have kids in that world etc etc... Then I thought the only good thing about him (at least to me) was him not accepting the oppression. Being against oppression is good. Especially when they are not the oppressed one. But... I was thinking "Was Gale ready against the oppression or was he against being the oppressed one?" He was ready to run away with Katniss. Leaving his own family and asking Katniss to leave Primrose. Asking Katniss to leave Primrose should be a crime (he did worse tho) He was so eager to fight against the Capitol. Definitely ready for war crimes (and we saw how it ended) To be honest I don't remember some parts. (It's been a while since I last listened the books) Like was he in the room while they were arguing for Capitol kids to play another Hunger Games? Google says no. And people argue about if he would say no or yes to get revenge. I feel like he would say yes. Maybe his mindset did change a little after causing Primrose's death but his personality would want revenge and it feels like he would be racist. To be fair he was basically a teenager... I don't think his personality was fully developed yet... But I still believe he was selfish. And even the good things he did was done for that reason. Like he gives the feeling that he wouldn't be against the oppression if he born in Capitol. Maybe he would say "I'm not a politic person" when someone asks "isn't it sad the kids are dying?" Like this whole AU story plays in my mind right now. Him being

Habiiibi! Kullu tamâm? To be honest, what you're being presented with is a good versus evil battle. And although there is some merit in saying, "there is always struggle around making the right choice for yourself", because sometimes it involves pain and upsetting people. But i'm not talking about this very polar "good versus evil battle", which is an ideological and/or pseudo-religious image that has been spun to you as a narrative to entrap you. When you get caught in that type of thing and you think one politician or one firqah is good and another is bad, you've sure as day gone straight down that slavery programming pathway again and you have fallen for it. It is always more complicated. People wake up and change sides as well. Some people are caught up in agendas they don't want to be, but they are trying to make their way out and make things better. Gotta always remember, there are degrees on the scale. Feel me? Allahû a'alam. Much love! P.S: I've told you i don't wanna hoard, remember? This one is from our very own treasure and treasurer, lover Yunûs: - Try your eyes on truth, you'd find out your 'self' is enough of an enemy for yourself. Now go, fire, clang, fight with it!

Mi breda from enada mada! Thing about those type of books (i'm going to call them as "offers of enlightenment", "kemâlât) is, they shout out and point out towards a way so intensively (remember what i told you about the general language, powerful word selections of those kinds of books), one tends to forget walking towards the destination and starts climbing on the roadsign itself. You feel me? Whenever someone offers (via a book, workshop, any product etc.) me the haqiqah i imediately start to doubt because i've come to believe i can only find it when i don't look for it, for example; like that book of yours. Funny thing about haqiqah is, -from my perspective of course- it is like a very shy gazelle. Whenever you feel like getting closer to it, it shies away, run off. And i've come to believe that however openly you point towards it (with words, speech) for someone else, it is of no use, because for that particular person (other), there remains a constant barricade between him/herself and haqiqah. And that barricade is the person itself! In Turkish, we use the word "irshad" for pointing the way, in religious context. An animal, a sheikh, a piece of rock, a star, an inanimate object, or even hatemu'l enbiyâ may be a murshid, but al-Haqq itself is the one who gives hidayah. And since al-Haqq resides in every one of us, in every human being, be it whether Chinese, Papua New Guinean, mumin, mushriq, real barricade between a person and al-Haqq (and generaly haqiqah) is the person itself.
