Farseer üçlemesine sonuna ulaşamadan veda ediyoruz
Bu seri benim okudukça tatmin olmamama rağmen okumayı en çok sürdürdüğüm seri oldu. Bunun sebebi ise bana en başından İzan ile ciddi miktarda potansiyel barındırdığını hissettirip sonrasında vasat bir ilerleyiş olsa da bir yerde patlamayı yapıp açılacağına inanıyor olmamdı lakin 3. kitabın 292. sayfasına kadar bu direncimi sürdürdüm ve an itibariyle sonlandırıyorum. Gerçekten mükemmel işlenip üzerine karmaşık bir evren ve derin karakterlerle şaheser olabilecek bir konu böylesine ziyan edilmiş inanması zor. Vasatın altında demek de seriye birazcık sert davranmak olabilir ama 1000 sayfaya yakın okuduğum kısmında heyecanlanıp coşku duyduğum sadece 4-5 sayfa oldu desem yalan söylemiş olmam. Serinin en başından beri Fitz ile hiç ama hiçbir bağ kuramadım. Kafasının içi samanla dolu boş karakter olarak yazılmış ve karakter gelişimi de sıfır. Hiçbir muhakeme, plan, zeka ve dahi özdeşleşilecek duygu esintisi alamadım. Kitapta en sevdiğim karakter Lady Patience ve Kettricken olabilir. Hiçbir ters köşesi, kurgu olağanüstülüğü ve heyecanı olmayan net hayal kırıklığı bir seri oldu benim için. Şöyle de bir ne yazık ki altı dolu önyargım oluşmuş durumda ki Kargalar Meclisi dışında bir kadın yazarın derinlikli ve akıcı bir fantastik serisini okuyamamış olmaya da şaşırıyorum. Karakterlerle bireysel olarak da evrendeki karakterlerin kendi yerleri olarak da bir türlü karakterleri benimseyemeyip olay akışında heyecan duyulmuyor ne yazık ki. Hem kurgusu hem de karakterleriyle destansı Fantastik yazmak apayrı bişey bence. Umarım ileride bu önyargımı kıracak bir seri de okuyabilirim de Fantastik Kurgu romanlara birikmiş açlığımı doyurmama yardımcı olabilir. Mic drop...
An emergency call was received from a team drilling on a distant planet, and the aid team closest to the planet was directed to the call. When the team lands on the planet, it can't find anyone. They go to the base where the excavation team is staying, it is understood that something is wrong, they find blood marks, nail marks and a top dominated by brutality everywhere. İtiraf etmeliyim ki, benim için biraz bunaltıcı bir kitap oldu. Ana konu olan hayatın anlamı oldukça ilgi çekici, ancak kitaptaki bu tekrarlanan içerik, okuyucunun kitabı bırakıp biraz enerji toplamak için çizgi film izlemek istemesine neden oluyor. (En azından benim açımdan)
Review in English:
I have to confess that I found it a bit of an overwhelming book for me. The main subject being the meaning of life is pretty inviting but this content being repetitive in the book makes the reader want to just drop the book and start watching cartoons to gain some energy. (At least from my perspective)
i lost my trust to the book blogger whose recommend this book. and the writer who write the introduction … after i read the introduction i was expecting some impressive facts about the way we (as a woman) embrace the things that the patriarchy enforce us. like i was waiting to say “i didn’t think about it in that way.”. that isolated girl whose (i think) supposed to make the 39 women and the reader question about the things which seems normal to them but does no such thing. rather than questioning she ALWAYS says “iM diFeRrent FroM yOu”. nothing makes the character reasonable in the story. what was the point of writing an isolated girl in a dozens of women if you just write a lonely woman story?
additionally, the author training to be a doctor and drop it. then explaining the medical things which refer to this knowledge, i guess and while writing the women genitals she proudly says the word “hymen” but she completely wrong by the knowing the meaning and the function of it.
if i wanted to read a woman whose escaped from a bunker and trying to find back home, i would select the book.
it is not a feminist book, not a well written book. keeping on the toes? no. keeping the hope? maybe. just a plain book who does not deserve so much hype.

25 nisan: maalesef araya deprem girdigi icin bir sure okuyamadim. dun ve bugun devam ettim. thelemakhos’un yolculugu eglenceliydi ama daha kisa surer sanmistim biraz uzun surdu cok buyuk olmayan bir olayin anlatilmasi sanki. onun da odysseus’un da gittigi her yerde yeni toplumlar gormesi oralardan surekli name drop yemek falan biraz hos. oralari tanimak ve her seferinde yeni, detayli ama anlamsiz uzun olmayan betimlemeler ile anlatilmasi falan. herkes asiri fazla misafirperver ona takildim biraz. ormanda ciplak halde buldugun bir adami hizmetcilerine yikatip guzelce yaglayip en guzel yemeklerden yedirip koskune davet eder misin deseler mesela…homer zamaninda bi pr calismasi mi yapiyormus acaba

Ali and Nino
“Ali and Nino” is not just a love story for me; it is a deep and emotional portrayal of the clash between East and West, and the struggle for freedom and identity. As I read the book, I could feel the spirit of Baku at that time, almost living through the emotions of the characters myself.
The contrast between Ali’s Eastern roots and Nino’s European mindset, and how these differences affect their love, beautifully reflects the complexity of human relationships. Ali’s loyalty to his homeland, family, and love, along with his inner struggles, made me reflect deeply.
The language of the novel is fluent and poetic. I was especially touched by Ali’s profound love for Baku and his readiness to sacrifice everything for it. Ali fights for Azerbaijan’s freedom until the last drop of his blood, stirring strong feelings of patriotism in the reader. “Ali and Nino” vividly brings to life a nation’s unforgettable struggle for independence.
