Gabimaru is a ninja on death row with one chance to see his wife again—by finding the elixir of immortality on a supernatural island and delivering it to the shogun. 4/5 Stars (%77/100) This volume was full of action and I really liked it. I'm especially loving the character development of Aza brothers (Chobei and Toma). The characters are well-written in my opinion and you can see how they're improving both physically and mentally throughout the story. Even the cold-blooded killer Gabimaru is much different now. I think Gabimaru is still my favorite but I also started to warm up to the others (not the villains though). However, I'm still not sure if I'll be able to find that "perfect" volume. So far, it's been interesting enough for me to continue reading but I'm not sure when we'll reach that climax.
