“It’s… um, nice to meet you, Thrax.” Her tone didn’t sound convinced, and she tugged on her hand as if to take it back from me, but I wasn’t ready to free her. After all, she’d given it to me in the first place. I had no idea why, but I wasn’t going to complain about easy prey.
