The Wall albümü bireyin toplum tarafından nasıl yıprandığını ve sonunda kendi içine çekilerek bir "duvar" ördüğünü anlatır. Bu duvar hem koruyucu hem de hapsedici bir metafordur. Pink karakterinin psikolojik çöküşü insanın anlam arayışında nasıl yalnızlaştığını gösterir. Bu arada bu albümde Pink diye bir karakter bulunuyor, şarkılar onu anlatıyor. İnsan kendini güvenceye almak için ördüğü duvarların ardında mahkûm olur. Benim bu albümdeki en sevdiğim parça çoğu kişinin yeterince odaklanmadığı "Hey You" şarkısıdır. Pink'in kendini toplumdan tamamen kopardığı ve duvarın ardında yalnız kaldığından bahseder. Bu durum benim zaman zaman hissettiğim duygularımı yansıtır. Kendimi her kötü hissettiğimde mutlaka dinleyip daha da kötü olurum :D
