I already read the Turkish version of Animal Farm three or four years ago. Animal Farm is a captivating novel that draws you in. The language is clear, well-written and is easy to understand for the reader. I think everybody should read this book at least once in their lifetime. The central conflict starts with the desire of the animals for freedom and equality against the farm owner, and they took their freedom through a rebellion. Afterwards, the pigs take over of the farm. However, things do not go as the animals desire. Day by day, their living conditions worsen, and they can't even remember how life was before the rebellion. They simply assume it must have been worse when humans were in charge. And they kept their hope that everything would get better with time or that the pigs were doing their best for them. It’s a stunning book that enlightens readers to the truths of our lives and the systems by which countries are governed. I highly recommend this novel to everyone. You definitely won't be regret it.

The central conflict depicted in George Orwell's "Animal Farm" revolves around the initial aspirations of the animals for freedom and equality, which become distorted through the pigs' gradual accumulation of political power. This conflict gains momentum from the outset, as the animals' original aspirations are encapsulated within Old Major's teachings and the resonant anthem, "Beasts of England." The narrative begins with Mr. Jones as the embodiment of political authority, callously indulging himself while the animals endure deprivation. The animals' successful rebellion against Mr. Jones might initially appear as a victory over political power itself. However, this belief is a misstep on their part. Their triumph is over a single manifestation of political power, rather than its complete eradication. This misunderstanding is poignantly exemplified when Napoleon takes the cows' milk in Chapter 2, signifying the transfer of political power to the pigs. Subsequent chapters (2-7) delve into the pigs' increasing dominance and the realization among the other animals that their initial goals have not been fulfilled. Napoleon and the pigs gradually embody political power through various facets. Initially, they appropriate resources for themselves, starting with milk and apples and eventually trading animal produce for human luxuries. Their authority further materializes through violent means, introducing a canine police force and orchestrating executions. Equally significant is their control over the perception of truth. Squealer's manipulation of the Commandments of Animalism and the account of the Battle of the Cowshed solidify their authority over reality. The pinnacle of this trajectory occurs in Chapter 7, when Napoleon's decision to sell the hens' eggs prompts their

☆ Why i Read - This Novel is famous and it was something different from which i read earlier so i choose this book to read. ☆ What i Read - "Rebel" & "Communism" the true meaning of this words is explained by author in this book with the help of animal characters. - It consist a story of Manor farm where large number of animal lived and it is handled and controlled by Mr.Jones. - One night the major (The oldest pig in farm) held a meeting in farm and told his words towards the owner of the farm (which was doing torture to all animals) which was enough to cause rebellion movement among the animal of farm. - Saying was - Four legs good, two legs bad. - Later unity among the animal, kick the manor and his men out of farm. Farm name was changed from manor farm to animal farm , It was the only farm which was controlled by animal itself. - work and food was all controlled by pig's as it was the intelligent animal from all, pigs used to all benefits for free which sometimes lead to betrayal to other animals. - This book show about the communism & Rebel movement around the animal, where some animal are treated specially from others animal, it shows the same behavior of men during the communism ( Soviet Union ) in russia - this was the main motive of the book to make people understand that in communism big people with there powers treat small people wrongly. My best of all was horse named Boxer. ( I will work harder till death - Boxer ) Beasts of England song is still in air. Thank you.

Circe, Madeline Miller Circe explores the story of the daughter of Helios, Titan, and the god of the sun. The witch-goddess is likely best known for her role in Odysseus' story as the sorceress who lives alone on an island and turns men to pigs. Madeline says that she was impressed by Circe while reading Odysses in her 13 but he never asked why she turned men into pigs. Madeline says that, she wanted to be the voice of woman in mythology, to show the pressure and how the were abused by gods, society. Author says, humanity and empathy are the most powerful tools which ancient greek gods do not have. Circe is also the voice of humanity who speaks for humans. She takes the snippets that have been told of Circe and creates a multi-dimensional character who has the flaws of mortals and abilities of the gods. “It is a common saying that women are delicate creatures, flowers, eggs, anything that may be crushed in a moment's carelessness. If I had ever believed it, I no longer did.” “That is one thing gods and mortals share. When we are young, we think ourselves the first to have each feeling in the world.” “But perhaps no parent can truly see their child. When we look we see only the mirror of our own faults.”
