My journey with this story began unexpectedly when I saw a vintage GIF of a young woman reading on a train. That aesthetic curiosity led me to the 1945 film and, eventually, this captivating novel. What struck me most was the circular narrative structure; beginning and ending with Richard Harland’s return, it creates a sense of inevitability. While many focus on Ellen’s "monstrous" nature, I found the supporting characters equally unsettling. The "pure" characters—the Mother, Ruth, and Richard—were far from innocent. There was a subtle, pervasive gaslighting at play, particularly from Ellen's mother, which added layers of psychological complexity to the tragedy. Richard often acted as a passive participant in his own life, behaving as though the marriage was something forced upon him, even though Ellen’s obsession was clear from the start. The presence of Danny served as a pivotal trial for everyone involved, pushing Ellen’s jealousy toward a point of no return. Though Ellen committed truly heinous acts, the book succeeds because it shows a "Mastermind" created by an environment of emotional neglect and obsession. The finale was haunting and perfectly executed—a dark masterpiece of Technicolor Noir.

Rahat seçim için ödüllendirilmezsiniz. Own The Day, Own Your Life Tek bir gün hayatınız gibidir. Her parça birbiriyle bağlantılıdır, yaptığınız her seçim gelecekte yapacağınız seçimleri etkiler.

5/5 Stars (%100/100) This is another volume that is absolutely perfect and one of my favorites. The Infinity Train arc ends with this volume and the movie is based on volumes 7 and 8. Even before watching the movie, this was great to read but now, after watching the movie, I can appreciate it even better. The boys and Kyojuro continue to fight and just when they think they are safe, Akaza appears. Akaza is the Upper Moon Rank 3 demon which means he is very close Muzan himself, which also means he has to be extremely powerful. The fight scenes are full of emotion and it is as if you can feel the clashes. The whole book is very emotional and powerful. Kyojuro is such an amazing character and his interaction with Tanjiro and the boys is great. This is definitely one of my favorite chapters and after reading it, I suggest you watch the film because it is simply amazing. Brilliant job Gotouge Sensei!

4/5 Stars (%81/100) Not as good as the previous one but it is really good in general. After the battle, Nezuko and Tanjiro brought to the HQ of Demon Slayer Corps. We get to meet the leader of Demon Slayer Corps, a mysterious man usually called Master of the Mansion (Oyakata-sama). Here, the Hashira, Pillars, are also introduced. I have to admit that they are pretty generic when we first meet them. They only have one specific quality except for Giyuu and Shinobu because we know more about them. However, I know that every Hashira is very unique and lovable. Shinobu decides to take the boys to her mansion and train them. The short training/rehabilitation arc was pretty funny and easy to read. Shinobu is one of my favorite characters in the whole series. The next arc is the Infinity Train Arc which is very good (After the first season of the anime, they decided to release this arc as a movie and it is already out in many countries).

I choose this book because when I was a child it was one of my favorite book. It is not boring and enjoyable, full of adventures. And it is easy to understand as a first leaner of a language. Of course the title had impressed me when I saw it in library, my eyes were glowing. I’ve read all Harry Potter books in Turkish and the English ones were expensive so when I saw this book in English in library I was so happy. And I’ve read it in 15 days. There was a boy which is the main character we know from the first book, Harry Potter. Which he is 12 years old, black hair, green eyes with glasses look innocent and clever. He used to live with his muggle (not come from witcher family and can do any magical stuffs) uncle and aunt. And his second year at Hogwarts in this book. This year there will be a chamber of secrets and warning about that chamber had opened by the heir of Salazar Slytherin. And this person would kill all pupils who do not come from all-magical families. These threats are found after attacks that leave Dumbledore. Throughout the year, Harry and his best friends Ron Weasley which he is pure blood family with his orange hair like all the Weasleys. Brown eyes and average tall. Look booby most of the time. But he is loyal to his friends and Hermione Granger which she is mugglee-born but very talented witch. With her brown hair and brown eyes she always look clever which she is investigate the attacks. Book is starting with Harry’s miserable holiday in Dudley’s House. He wants more than everything to go back to Hogwarts. But a house-elf, Dobby is trying to block him to go back to Hogwarts. And eventually he succeed and make Dursley (the muggle uncle) angry. And he locked him in his room. And Ron and her twin brothers Fred and George came to rescue him. And he

“When death captures me,” the boy vowed, “he will feel my fist on his face.” “I have hated words and I have loved them, and I hope I have made them right.” This is a book to treasure, a new classic. I absolutely loved it. This book made me feel empty in a way that only truly beautifully written books can. When I finished reading the last word on the last page of this book, I felt empty; there is a paradoxical mix of feeling incredibly saddened that the book is over but also completely satisfied because the ending was the best ending you could have ever hoped for and more. Together, those feelings left me feeling empty and breathless. The story set in Germany in the years 1939-1943, The Book Thief tells the story of Liesel, narrated by Death who has in his possession the book she wrote about these years. So, in a way, they are both book thieves. Liesel steals randomly at first, and later more methodically, but she's never greedy. Death pockets Liesel's notebook after she leaves it, forgotten in her grief, amongst the destruction that was once her street, her home, and carries it with him. Liesel is effectively an orphan. She never knew her father, her mother disappears after delivering her to her new foster parents, and her younger brother died on the train to Molching where the foster parents live. Death first encounters nine-year-old Liesel when her brother dies, and hangs around long enough to watch her steal her first book, The Gravedigger's Handbook, left lying in the snow by her brother's grave. Her foster parents, Hans and Rosa Herbermann, are poor Germans given a small allowance to take her in. Hans, a tall, quiet man with silver eyes, is a painter (of houses etc.) and plays the accordian. He teaches Liesel how to read and write. Rosa is gruff and
