“That’s where Harriet thrives. The straight lines from her childhood until the present day; all the things you are now can and must be explained by something that happened in the past. Sometimes he’s jealous of the security she finds in that banality, so sure of all these links. It must be so simple to live that way, because there is an answer for everything, everything has an explanation! And you’re never the blame for anything, you’re merely a perpetual victim of other people’s faults and shortcomings.”
Our childhood haunts us no matter what age we reach. There are some memories that lives in our heads, replayed over and over again even though it’s painful. At some point, I think I learned to let go. Life is easier that way. And no, a child cannot be blamed for the horrible things that happened to her. Yet, people are responsible for navigating the outcome of it. That’s the exhausting thing about life. You, alone, have to deal with things that happened out of your control.
“Ozel mulkiyete son verilcek olursa her turlu faaliyet durur ve genel bir tembellik yayilir diye bir itirazda bulunulmustur. Oyle olsaydi burjuva toplumu atalet yuzunden coktan yikilmis olurdu. Cunku bu toplumda calisanlar kazanamazken, kazananlar calismamaktadir.”
“Biz komunistler, kisisel olarak edinilmis, insanin kendi emeğinin ürünü olan mulkiyete her turlu kisisel ozgurluk, faaliyet, ve bagimsizligin ileri oldugu öne sürülen ozel mulkiyete son vermekle suclanmisizdir. Insanin calisarak elde ettigi, edindigi, kendi cabasiyla kazandigi mulkiyet, burjuva mulkiyetinden onceki kucuk burjuva, kucuk koylu mulkiyeti mi sozunu ettiginiz? Bunu ortadan kaldirmamiza gerek yok, sanayinin gelismesi onu yok etmis bulunuyor ve her gun yok ediyor zaten.”
