The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway tells a story that feels simple at first, almost like something you could explain in a few sentences. An old fisherman goes out to sea, catches a great fish, and loses it on the way back. But as the story unfolds, it becomes clear that this is not really a story about fishing at all. It is about endurance, dignity, and what it means to struggle in a world that does not always reward effort. The novella centers on Santiago, an old Cuban fisherman who has gone eighty-four days without catching a fish. In his village, he is seen as unlucky, even defeated. Only a young boy, Manolin, continues to believe in him, although he is no longer allowed to fish with Santiago. This quiet isolation shapes the emotional atmosphere of the story. Santiago is not just physically alone at sea; he is also set apart from the people around him, living on the edge of relevance. When he finally sets out far into the Gulf Stream, determined to break his unlucky streak, he hooks a giant marlin. What follows is a long, exhausting struggle that lasts for days. The fish pulls his small boat deep into the open sea, and Santiago, despite his age and pain, refuses to give up. What is striking here is not just the physical challenge, but the way Santiago thinks about the fish. He does not hate it. He respects it, admires it, even feels a kind of kinship with it. At times, he speaks to it as if it were an equal. This changes the nature of the conflict. It is not a simple battle between man and nature, but something more complex, almost like a test of worth between two noble beings. When Santiago finally kills the marlin, it feels like a moment of triumph, but that triumph does not last. Sharks are drawn to the blood of the fish and begin to attack it.

Spoi olabilirr İlk kitapta Eiranin insan dünyasina dönebilecek mi derken, ikinci kitapta nos nos nos dedim, Allaha şükür ki Nosumuz üçüncü kitapta come back atti.

15.04.2020 Dear Unknown Woman, “To you who has never known me.” I want to start with your sentences dear Mrs. Unknown Woman. You wrote these sentences for Mr.R. and I’m writing to you now. You guess why I wrote to you. I read your letter to Mr.R. and decided to write to you. There are a lot of things that I want to tell and ask you. I don't know whether my letter can help you or not. Please listen to me. Do you think that your emotions are normal towards Mr.R? You've been loving him since you were 13.You fell in love with him even though he was older than you and there were a lot of women around him. I remember that your mother decided to move to Innsbruck. You had resisted not to change cities for days. What was for? For your friend, your school. No, just Mr.R. After a while, you went back Vienna. Actually you are such a brave woman that you turned alone for your love. (I appreciated you for this.)But while all this was happening, he didn't even know your name. Then, one day you had the opportunity to eat with Mr. R. I can imagine what a fascinating day it was for you.It was an ordinary day for him and this was very annoying for you. If I were you, I would face him and tell him how much I love him and the fact that I have a child. But I don't get mad at you because you didn't face MrR. Because if Mr.R. had known you, would there have been such a deep love story? But on the other hand,Yeah maybe that kind of love wouldn't come out but at least you would be happy. Also you could marry another man who loves you. Besides your child could have a beautiful life. By the way, I’m so sorry for your son honey. Rest In Peace:/ I don't know, I'm so confused. Anyway,I have one more question for you.Did you try love another man or forget him.Though you see loving someone else as a

Spoiler alert: The novel follows Jay Gatsby, a wealthy man who throws lavish parties in hopes that his former lover, Daisy Buchanan, will come. Daisy had once loved Gatsby, but after losing contact with him during the war, she married Tom Buchanan. After five years, Gatsby reconnects with Daisy when Nick Carraway, their mutual friend and neighbor, invites her to tea at Gatsby’s request. Gatsby and Daisy resume their romance, though Daisy is unwilling to leave Tom completely. At the Plaza Hotel in New York, Tom and Gatsby argue bitterly, with Gatsby demanding that Daisy declare she never loved Tom. Daisy hesitates, and the confrontation ends in tension. On the drive back, Daisy—driving Gatsby’s car—accidentally strikes and kills Myrtle Wilson. Gatsby decides to take the blame. Shortly after, George Wilson, convinced Gatsby was responsible, shoots Gatsby while he is floating in his pool, and then kills himself. Daisy does not reach out or attend Gatsby’s funeral, leaving Nick to reflect on the emptiness behind wealth and the American Dream.

What a ride this book was. I started reading it in april, read about 120 pages and dropped it because I was really busy. I suddenly picked it up again yesterday and read 300+ pages, finished it, cried a little. I am really excited for the movie that is going to come out because this book can totally be a good sci-fi movie. That is to say, the BEST part about it was Grace and Rocky's friendship. I LOVED their interactions so much. Even if you are two entirely different species, the most important thing to be is a good friend. Grace deciding to go back for Rocky and his world made me really cry. (Also, the cannibalistic (kind of?) part near the end about Grace eating his own artifical human meat caught me off so bad like what the f*ck???)
