I have just finished the book Normal People by Sally Rooney. Overall, to me, it seemed like a normal book: an enjoyable drama, thrilling and addictive. However, there was still a question: what was I reading about? I think this happened because I had high expectations. But who set them? I think it was because it was everywhere, I mean so many people recommended this book. Even when I opened the front page, famous people's quotes were there, and it was awarded so many times. But to me, it still does not make any sense why it got so many awards. Who decided that this book is actually "good"? What is even a good or bad book? It is up to people’s preference, no? So, I think to me this was just an average drama. But what makes this book good to me are the two perfect characters, two normal people. Also, as a side note, maybe the reason I thought this was just an average book is its topic. It was literally about two normal, ordinary people, people we can see at university. There was nothing extraordinary, fancy, or miraculous. Reviewing the two main characters is a good beginning. I would like to start with Marianne. While I was reading about Marianne, the one thing I agreed with once more is that we accept the love we think we deserve; we accept the behavior we think we deserve. That is why it’s important to have self-love and self-respect. Because if you don't love yourself or respect yourself, you will accept disrespect from others as well. Deep inside, you think you deserve it and feel no need to fight it. She had literally no value towards herself. I believe there are many people like this, but for her, it was at the lowest point. Connell is a typical person who lives for the acceptance of society. He was so afraid of loneliness that he agreed to fit in anywhere he

S, s'dir. No arapça kelimeler kullanıyorsan böyle dümdüz konuşamazsın. S, Ss, s :) O zaman o kelimeleri de komple terk edeceksin, yoksa işte dünyanın Ramadan dediği şeye sen Ramazan dersin. Zat'çılar sizi :) Mahalliler. Canım Akif hocam ne diyorsa o doğrudur. Dağılın. Şu saniye dahi burayı böyle bırakıp gidip Kur'an okumak istiyorum. Seren hanımmm you deserve it. :) Thank you,

This book is filled with amazing information that makes you want to read it more than once. Some sections are so valuable that they deserve to be revisited again and again. It reminds us how often we do the basics of living—eating, breathing, sleeping—incorrectly, and shows how small changes can bring us back into balance. Anyone seeking a healthier lifestyle and deeper understanding of how to live correctly in the human body should read this guide.

Les Misérables: A Timeless Story of Struggle and Redemption
Puan vermedi
Today, I finally finished the first volume of Les Misérables by Victor Hugo. For a long time, I had planned to read this book, as the writer's outstanding style caught my attention. Now, let’s dive into the summary. Victor Hugo began working on Les Misérables in 1845 but didn’t publish it until 1862. In this novel, he highlights social injustice and the struggles of the poor and desolate. After its publication, the book faced criticism, but despite that, it spread quickly across the world, capturing the attention of readers from different backgrounds. The story follows Jean Valjean, a young man who experiences numerous hardships from an early age. He takes on the responsibility of caring for his widowed sister and her seven children. Struggling with poverty, he steals a loaf of bread from a store one day. As a result, he is sentenced to three years in prison, where he endures harsh treatment and merciless punishment. He attempts to escape three times, but each attempt only increases his sentence, eventually extending it to nineteen years. During his time in prison, Jean Valjean gradually loses his faith in humanity. Years of suffering and injustice fill him with hatred and resentment. This raises an important question: Was Jean Valjean truly a criminal? Did he deserve such severe punishment? He was not a well-educated man, but he was far from being a real criminal. Throughout his years in prison, he acknowledges that stealing the bread was wrong. However, he had no money and no job, and given the harsh realities of the time, finding work to survive was nearly impossible. While theft is not justifiable, the punishment he endured was extreme, and the treatment of prisoners in katorga was unbearable. He never wanted to become a criminal, but circumstances pushed him

“You have no idea what it takes to stand by anyone. You certainly don’t know what it takes to stand by a child. Mom did that. And when Mom couldn’t, I tried to finish the job. No, scratch that. I didn’t try to finish the job. I did finish the job. Because look at them. They are all talented and smart and good—and, sure, we’re not perfect. But we have integrity. We know something about loyalty. We are there for each other. And all of that is because Mom and I did a great job. You… you have done nothing despite how capable you probably could have been if you gave half a shit. But because you weren’t here, we learned how to go on without you.” I have to say, I love Taylor Jenkins Reid! This story is told from different perspectives. I really enjoyed this because I felt every moment and emotion, and everything else that was important. This made me feel everything. I guess I love all the characters because they seem real. Nina is the strongest woman in the book. Honestly, I loved every moment of this book because I connected with it so much that I cried a lot. Actually, I don’t know what to think because this story is really heartbreaking. I’m really sorry for June because she didn’t deserve this. Mick is a really disgusting person, and I hated him. Did I start believing in impossible heroes? June and Nina, of course. In the book, Nina raises her siblings and grows up with them. Even though Mick is a terrible father, his children are great people. Honestly, my favorite characters in the book were June and all the children, including Casey. No child deserves a bad parent like that. No one deserves such a terrible person. The world is an unfair place because of people like that. No one's heart is your playground. Please be nice to your own children and family. This is more
