Before I start, I want to express that I didn't read this book in paperback but listened to it in its original language from Storytel. Tbh I was kind of disappointed with this book, because my expectations were different and way higher. I already know a great deal about ADHD, or so it seems, since I haven't learned much new about this situation from this book. It's probably great for people who don't know anything about ADHD, it was fun, relatable, and the narrators (people reading the book out loud in the app) were great. It was engaging and all, but l expected something totally different, so it didn't captivate me as I thought it would. But it's still a good read and was fairly enjoyable

Kitabın ilk 20 səhifəsində əsəbləşməyə başladım, çünki ne məktəbdə, nə universitetdə, nə də 27 illk həyatımda Şahmar kimi birini tanımamışdım və mənə mümkünsüz, həddindən artıq şişirdilmiş bir qəhrəman kimi gəldi. Sonra anladım ki, biz dünyanın yaxșı tərəfini görməyə çalışırıq. Amma hərgün küçələrdə, ușaq evlərində, həbsxanalarda yüzlərlə belə ușaq, belə insan məhv olur. Niyə? Çünki biz onları həyata qaytara bilmirik. Qaytarmaq istəmirik. Amma o insan sevdiyimiz, dəyər verdiyimiz biri olsa əlimizdən gələni edərik yəqin ki. Deməli seçici yanaşırıq. Açığı kitab o insanları necə həyata qaytara bilərik demir, ancaq onların var oluşunu və onlara nece davranmamalıyıq onu göstərir. Mən tabuların danışılmasını sevən biriyəm, elə bir "ayy ayıbdır o haqda danışma" və ya "o forma danıșma" deyən biri deyiləm, ancaq kitabın bəzi jarqonları mənə belə artıq gəldi), Yenə hər anımıza şükür etməyi xatırlamamız üçün oxumağa dəyər bir kitabdır. Kitabdan bir neçə cümlə qalsın burda: 1. "Müəllimlər günündə hamı 20 manat verəndə mən 10 manat verdiyim üçün uşağımdan acıq çıxır"- məktəb vaxtı ən çox güldüyüm cümlə idi. Bir də sinif rəhbərinin yanına hazırlığa göndərmək 2. "Valideyn olmaq, ana olmaq uşağı dünyaya gətirmək deyil. Ömrünü ona sərf etməkdir"- bunu anlamadan cəmiyyətə uşaq gətirilməməlidir. O uşağa bunları yaşatmağa haqqınız yoxdu. 3. "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didnt do than by the ones you did do. Sail away from the safe harbor. Explore. Dream. Discover". 4. "Toylarda qulağına verdiyin əziyyətlə ölçülür toy sahibinə yaxınlığın" - Allah bizi səhnəyə yaxın otuzdurulduğumuz toylardan qorusun 5."Həmin gün elədliklərimin qarşılığını alacağım gün idi. Belə günlərdə insanın qarşısında iki seçim olur. Birincisi, səhvlərini başa düşüb

I haven't read thrillers since high school. So, I've devoured in 24 hours because I've missed reading thrillers, action-packed books. Also, my best friend recommended this book. I've always trusted her taste in books. She never disappointed me. This book is about an elderly woman who has been an assassin for a long time. She has seen so many horrible things and is still holding on. A little mistake she made in the past haunted her, and she found herself in a really difficult situation. I don't want to give any spoiler except saying it is a beautifully written thriller.

Cecelia Ahern has been one of my favorite authors, and I’ve met her book in secondary school. My English teacher gave me her book called Where the Rainbow Ends as a present, and I was obsessed with the book. However, I’ve noticed that I didn’t read any of her books for a long time. This book is in my TBR. That’s why I chose it to listen. In the beginning, I was disappointed with the plot, which didn't appeal to me. Later on, I’ve liked the bond between the daughter and father. However, this book isn’t my cup of tea. I think there are so many plot holes. The best book of her is still ‘Where the Rainbow Ends’ for me.

I was unsure as to my rating of the book. It truly flowed very easily, and it was written in a simple but good language. I liked the way chapters were connected but also far apart in time and still everything in the story itself made sense. The characters and plot is a whole other story. At the start what promised to be a good character development failed for me. Connell’s story and portrayal was quite realistic, with nice scenes that helped the reader understand him. However, I cannot say the same for Marianne. I love her, truly, and that’s why I was even more disappointed. By the end it seemed to me that she was solely created for the purpose of shaping Connell’s life. At times it is as if she is not a human even, just a random object to hold together his feelings and emotions. She is at first intelligent, and has strong political opinions. Then all that is gone. I understand what is trauma, and it would be perfectly fine her stopping to express her views, but trauma doesn’t make things vanish. Your feelings, your opinions, whether muted or strong they are still inside you. One moment Marianne is full and intelligent, the other moment she is blank like a robot reset. And the whole situation with the family abuse and hate, but them still supporting her financially, allowing her to use their homes and summer villas, was even more unrealistic. It’s my first time seeing such supportive abusers. This is just my personal opinion, and obviously at the end I was quite unsure whether I liked the book or not.

What a nice and attractive book! "Death of a Salesman" by Arthur Miller really affected me. It tells the story of an aging salesman who feels he hasn’t succeeded in life. He believes deeply in the “American Dream”—the idea that being popular and well-liked will bring him success. But as his dreams don’t come true, he feels lost and disappointed, and I felt sad seeing him struggle this way. Ot was really heartbreaking for a reader. The play explores themes like the pressure to succeed, family expectations, and social pressure on a person, and I felt disappointed about the reality of the American Dream. It showed me how society’s high expectations can sometimes harm our sense of who we are. The ending is powerful and sad, showing how the obsession with success and the American Dream ultimately destroys someone's life and leaves his family in pain.
