Oğlumla birlikte okuduğumuz kitaplardan biri de bu kitap serisi olacak. Göz doktoru amcamız bahsedince epey merak edip, epey de sahaf bakındıktan sonra seriyi dizmeye başladım.
İlk kitabı ben bitirdim bile. Dokuz yaş için harika bir macera kitabı serisi! Ayrıntılı yazsa diye dilediğim kısımları düşününce bu kitaptan 20 cilt çıkardı deyip gülümsüyorum. Jano, Yanik aferin size cesur yürekler!…
Murder On The Orient ExpressEdebiyat
Murder on the Orient Express is a work of detective fiction by English writer Agatha Christie featuring the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. Its Turkish name is Doğu Ekspresinde Cinayet. The writer began to write this novel in Istanbul Pera Palace Hotel. In that hotel, her room is not rented as she used that room to write this detective fiction. The opening chapters of the novel take place primarily in Istanbul. The Orient Express is stopped by heavy snowfall. Hercule Poirot gets telegram and he is also on the way back to London. Ratchett has been receiving death threats; recognizing Poirot, he tries to hire him for protection. Poirot, repulsed by Ratchett, refuses. Poirot is a friend of Mr. Bouc who is the owner of the train. The next morning, with the train still stalled, Bouc informs Poirot that Ratchett has been murdered and the murderer is still aboard, having no way to escape in the snow. As there are no police onboard, Poirot takes up the case. There are some clues and he investigates it among 12 people. The body has twelve stab wounds, the window had been left open, a handkerchief with the initial "H", a pipe cleaner, a flat match different from the ones Ratchett used, and a charred piece of paper with "member little Daisy Armstrong" written on it. While he is searching for the murderer we learn new things and Poirot prepares some traps for them. We learn that the victim's real name is Cassetti who killed some family members and we try to interrogate the meaning of justice. I won't tell about the killer. We guess and wonder about the murderer but the writer throws us a curve. The author has many artifacts about detective fictions. We have Ahmet Ümit who is also good at detective novel. There are some movies about this novel and I am going to watch the latest

Çok güldüğüm, çok eğlendiğim bir kitap oldu. Açıkçası bu kadar eğleneceğimi hiç tahmin etmemiştim. Brody’nin saftirikliklerine kahkahalar attım. Bu arada Brody romantik kitaplarda gördüğümüz o ilahi erkek karakterlerden değildi. Beşer bir erkek karakter olmuş; zaafları vardı, korkuları vardı, gerçekleştirmek istediği hedefler vardı, zayıflıkları vardı. Ve açıkçası böyle olmasını sevdim. Tam bir romantik komediydi. 90’ların rom-com havası vardı ve çok sevdim.

Biri 13 biri 15 yaşında iki çocuğun, genç bile diyemiyorum(!), dünyayı keşfetmek niyetiyle atıldıkları, haddinden fazla aksiyon içeren 10 seriden birini, 3 numaralı olanı okudum.
Bu 2 çocuğun yanında Sultan isimli bir köpek ve 4 tecrübeli yetişkin; Afrika çöllerine, ormanlarına doğru yol alıyor.
Bu yetişkinler, tehlikelerden bir adım geri duruyorken ve bu 2 genci uyarıyorken, onlar her seferinde ölümle karşı karşıya gelecek şekilde meraklarının üzerine gidiyorlar.
Ve hep de ölümün pençesindeyken o yetişkin yol arkadaşları kurtarıyor.
Ayrıca endemik bitkilerden ve hayvanların özelliklerinden bahsediliyor. Bu hoş.

Ve birçok hayvanı en ince ayrıntısına kadar nasıl avladıklarını okurken hiç haz alamadım(!) :(
Hayvanların alanına sırf merakın için giriyorsun ve kendi hâlinde olan hayvanları korkutup üstüne zevkin için öldürüyorsun, ah biz insanoğlu(!)
Netice olarak hayvanların avlanmasına çok fazla yer verildiği için puan kırıyorum.
Macera dolu bir kitaptı.Elime 4'üncüsü geçti ama ona rağmen okuduğuma değdi.Jano ve Yanik'in köpekleri sultanla çıktıkları gezide büyük okyanusta yaşadıkları faciaları ve Molbeornu'de beş parasız kalıp haksız yere hapse kapatılması anlatılıyor.

Overall, it was pretty good and super fun to listen to. It is less than an hour long and I did not get bored not even once (despite the aim of the stories being for children). There are 4 stories in the collection and each of them is unique in its own way. I've always loved Gaiman as a storyteller and his voice is perfect for the job.
1-The Wolves in the Walls
The story is about a girl named Lucy who is certain that there are wolves living in their walls. No one believes her including her family until the wolves come out of the walls. This was a really good story to listen to and I actually enjoyed it.
2-Cinnamon
This is one is my favourite story in the collection. Princess Cinamon is a girl who cannot speak and his family hire a bunch of people (creatures) to teach her how to speak. Everything changes when a tiger appears. I don't know why but I felt really drawn into the world of Cinnamon despite its short length.
3-The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish
This is the funniest story in the collection. The title is pretty self-explanatory but there is a boy who trades his father to get two goldfish from his friend. When his mother wants the father back, he has to start a journey and make a lot of trades in order to get his father back. The idea behind the story is what makes it super funny. Loved it.
4-Crazy Hair
This is actually a short poem with lots of rhymes but it can be read as a story. The story is about a girl trying to brush the narrator's hair but it is very messy and a lot happens while trying to comb the hair. It was short but fun to listen to.
