Don't snack between meals. Boredom or snack habit will ruin your precious hunger. Overeating is not a cure for boredom. The stomach uses acid-based juices to digest proteins, and alkaline-based juices to digest carbohydrates. Mix alkaline with acid and they neutralize each other. So for example, if you eat a steak (protein) with a large portion of chips (carbohydrate), neither can be digested properly. The result is stagnation, indigestion and obesity.
