İnsanlar, net göremediğinde en önce seslerin duyulacağını düşünürler ama bu doğru değil. İlk hissedilen şey zamandır. Devasa bir maddenin yavaş ve sert akışına benzeyen zamanın her saniye, her salise bedenimden geçişini hissettikçe yavaş yavaş yenik düşerim.

İhanet. Çeviri, aslına şiddet uygulamak, onu yabancı, bilinçsiz gözler için çarpıtmak ve saptırmak demektir. O hâlde bu bizi hangi noktaya taşır? Bir çeviri eyleminin kaçınılmaz bir şekilde her zaman bir ihanet olduğunu kabul etmek dışında nasıl bir sonuca varabiliriz?
