I blame the stinking politicians and so-called public leaders who have avoided the issue and covered it up because it was controversial and what the hell, it will be years before it matters and I’m going to get mine now. So mankind gobbled in a century all the world’s resources that had taken millions of years to store up, and no one on the top gave a damn or listened to all the voices that were trying to warn them, they just let us overproduce and overconsume, until now the oil is gone, the topsoil depleted and washed away, the trees chopped down, the animals extinct, the earth poisoned, and all we have to show for this is seven billion people fighting over the scraps that are left.
The world’s largest radio telescope, completed in 2016, is called the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope, or “FAST” for short. It was built by China in their Guizhou Province, and is larger in area than thirty football fields. If aliens ever give us a call, the Chinese will be the first to know.

I called on the world’s leaders to provide free education to every child in the world. ‘Let us pick up our books and our pens,’ I said. ‘They are our most powerful weapons. One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world.’

there is no place for fatalizm
“What’s the world’s greatest lie?” the boy asked, completely surprised. “It’s this: that at a certain point in our lives, we lose control of what’s happening to us, and our lives become controlled by fate. That’s the world’s greatest lie.”
Seek to Love Before You Seek to Understand
Seek to love people before you seek to understand them. Everyone is on their own private journey with an entire world inside of them that we will never fully come to know. We can go through the same experience together, but that moment will mean something entirely different to each of us. As we weave in and out of each other's paths, people will surprise us in a million ways. Some way will hurt us and some way will heal us. Some ways will challenge us and some ways will change us. What if each person is just a teacher, a looking glass that mirrors to us the two ways wolves within? Without tension there would never be any growth. Conflict in nature is what creates islands, canyons, and supernovas that birth new worlds. So remember that when your heart cracks in your chest, it is not broken. It is letting the light in.

Oath of Fëanor
"Sonra Fëanor korkunç bir yemin etti. Yedi oğlu da yanında diz çöküp hep birlikte aynı andı içti ve meşalelerin ışığı çektikleri kılıçlarda kan gibi kıpkırmızı parladı." -Silmarillion, Noldor'un Kaçışına Dair Morgoth's Ring adlı kitapta belirtildiği gibi Fëanor ve oğullarının yemini: “Be he foe or friend, be he foul or clean Brood of Morgoth or bright Vala, Elda or Maia or Aftercomer, Man yet unborn upon Middle-earth, Neither law, nor love, nor league of swords, Dread nor danger, not Doom itself Shall defend him from Fëanáro, and Fëanáro’s kin, Whoso hideth or hoardeth, or in hand taketh, Finding keepeth or afar casteth A Silmaril. This swear we all… Death we will deal him ere Day’s ending, Woe unto world’s end! Our word hear thou, Eru Allfather! To the everlasting Darkness doom us if our deed faileth… On the holy mountain hear in witness and our vow remember, Manwë and Varda!"

There are two kinds of vision: the seeing of things, which belongs to the science of optics, versus the seeing beyond things, which results from deprivation. Man mocking the dark, rejecting worlds you do not know: though the dark is full of obstacles, it is possible to have intense awareness when the field is narrow and the signals few. Night has bred in us thought more focused than yours, if rudimentary: man the ego, man imprisoned in the eye, there is a path you cannot see, beyond the eye’s reach, what the philosophers have called the via negativa: to make a place for light the mystic shuts his eyes—illumination of the kind he seeks destroys creatures who depend on things.
The moon is the friendliest of the celestial bodies, after all, glowing warm and white and welcoming, like a friend who wants only to know that all of us are safe in our narrow worlds, our narrow yards, our narrow, well-considered lives. The moon worries. We may not know how we know that, but we know it all the same: that the moon watches, and the moon worries, and the moon will always love us, no matter what.
Why do so many of us bargain for a life sentence over the end of a rope or the muzzle of a gun? Do we not deserve to die? But we are not obsessed by such questions. To ask them is not in our interest, nor to answer them with hand on heart. In such spirit might we not bring to an end the conspiracy against the human race? This would seem to be the right course: the death of tragedy in the arms of nonexistence. Overpopulated worlds of the unborn would not have to suffer for our undoing what we have done so that we might go on as we have all these years. That said, nothing we know would have us take that step. What could be more unthinkable? We are only human beings. Ask anybody.
The Eighteen Types (of Seducer's Victims) 1) The Reformed Rake or Siren: People of this type were once happy-go lucky seducers who had their way with the opposite sex. But the day came when they were forced to give this up—someone corraled them into a relationship, they were encountering too much social hostility, they were getting older and

The Seductive Process Phase One: Separation—Stirring Interest and Desire 1-Choose the Right Victim: Everything depends on the target of your seduction. Study your prey thoroughly, and choose only those who will prove susceptible to your charms. The right victims are those for whom you can fill a void, who see in you something exotic.
Bruh!
There are deontologists such as Kant, who tell us that lying is always wrong (Always wrong? Even if the Nazis are at the door, asking if there are Jews in the attic? Yes!) and utilitarians such as Bentham, who say that it’s perfectly fine to torture and kill a baby if this action increases the sum total of the world’s happiness by even a smidgen (A baby? An innocent little baby? Yes!).
Some of the words in these passages were obviously spoken by Muhammad himself and some by Gabriel. Ali Dashti also points to several passages where the speaker cannot have been God. For example, the opening sura called the Fatihah: In the name of the Merciful and Compassionate God. Praise belongs to God, the Lord of the Worlds, the merciful, the compassionate, the ruler of the day of judgment! Thee we serve and Thee we ask for aid. Guide us in the right path, the path of those Thou art gracious to; not of those Thou art wroth with, nor of those who err. These words are clearly addressed to God, in the form of a prayer. They are Muhammad’s words of praise to God, asking God’s help and guidance. As many have pointed out, one only needs to add the imperative “say” at the beginning of the sura to remove the difficulty. This imperative form of the word “say” occurs some 350 times in the Koran, and it is obvious that this word has, in fact, been inserted by later compilers of the Koran, to remove countless similarly embarrassing difficulties.
