11 Eylül'de Dünya Ticaret Merkezine iki uçak saplandığında Kızılay'da bir büfeden su alıyordum. Büfenin küçük televizyonunda büfeci ile birlikte izledik o anları. Ve ikimiz de anladık ki benim su almamla ilgisi olmayan yeni bir düzen başlıyor.
Savaş başlamış ama düşmanını bulamamıştı. Ve sonunda onu da buldu.
Muhtelif görüşteki muhtelif yazarlardan bu döneme dair yazılar derlenmiş bu kitapta. Okumakta fayda var.
Oldukça büyük puntolarla yazılmış, ortalama bir yazı boyutu kullanılsaydı muhtemelen 50-60 sayfa civarında bir kitap olurdu. Metnin bu kısalığına rağmen yer yer büyük boşlukların bulunduğu sayfalar ve başka yazarlardan uzun alıntılar var. Yani yazarın kendi sesini çok az duyuyoruz. O ses de daha önce bu konularda okumalar yapmış kişilere yeni bir

I simply loved it. This could be one of my most powerful readings throughout the year. I learned so much about sexes/genders and bisexuality in general. I also learned a lot of concepts such as cisgender, male gaze, phallocentrism, genderqueer and many many more. These concepts were explained in such a clear and simple way that I had absolutely no problem or confusion while reading them. The writer not only talks about bisexuals and bisexuality, she also mentions the relationships between bisexuality and feminism/patriarchy/transgenders/racialization which helped me a lot while trying to understand bisexualism completely and without misjudgement.
I must say this was extraordinary and thrilling. I absolutely loved the book. Let's talk about it's topic a little bit. We have a main character named Lowen and she is a writer. As a result of a tragic accident, she meets a guy named jeremy. But they met again because of a meeting later. Jeremy offers her a job. Jeremy's wife is a famous writer but she cannot write anyting anymore due to some tragic events, and Jeremy wants Lowen to compelete her series. But the story is more than just a serie :) I wasn't expecting such drama and I was disturbed at the end of almost every chapter Verity wrote. She was such a good manipulator. And the ending was suspicious but I believe her. I think she didn't do it. This book deserves 8 I guess.
