First of all, it was an easy and comfortable book to read, and it had everything you would expect from a romance novel. The characters constantly running into each other, the male main character always being the one who saves the woman, those moments where the female character is like “I don’t depend on a man, look, I’m strong too,” and the fact that they immediately fell for each other from the very first moment they saw each other — it had all of those things. The girl loving luxury but also having those “I’m not like that” moments was there too. Even the way they acted like teenagers experiencing love for the first time was included.
I was expecting something more interesting, especially since the main character was supposedly bisexual, but she basically fell for the first handsome and rich man she saw. I didn’t like any of the characters. Honestly, it was obvious how the ending would go. They were either going to get married or he was going to propose, and that unnecessary breakup scene the author added just to create some drama was so pointless.
It was nice to read something that reflected Armenian culture, and the book has an English level that flows easily and doesn’t make the reader struggle too much. But aside from that, I feel like something was missing. It could have been much better.
It’s readable, but I don’t think it’s a book that should be taken too seriously. In my opinion, it was just a very light, “snackable” read.

No Easy Day modern askerî kitaplar arasında en dikkat çeken eserlerden biridir. Kitap, eski bir Navy SEAL olan Mark Owen’ın gözünden özel operasyon dünyasını ve özellikle Usame Bin Ladin operasyonunu anlatır. Ancak kitabı güçlü yapan şey sadece operasyon detayları değil; disiplin, takım ruhu, korku yönetimi ve zihinsel dayanıklılığı gerçekçi şekilde hissettirmesidir.
Kitap boyunca okuyucu klasik bir “kahramanlık hikâyesi” yerine, profesyonellik ve soğukkanlılık üzerine kurulu bir dünyanın içine giriyor. Kitabın en güçlü yönlerinden biri gerçekçilik hissi. Hollywood tarzı abartılı kahramanlık yerine disiplinli profesyonellerin işini yaptığı atmosfer verilmiş. Bu da kitabı diğer askerî kitaplardan ayırıyor.
Eksik tarafı olarak bazı okuyucular duygusal derinliği az bulabiliyor çünkü anlatım daha çok operasyon odaklı ilerliyor. Ancak askerî strateji, özel kuvvet psikolojisi ve gerçek görev hikâyeleri sevenler için oldukça etkileyici bir eser.

It is easy reading book. I had finished it just in 2 days. Characters is not best but olsa not too bad. If you want something easy and cheerful you can read it. Enjoyed.
Tristana starts like a love story, but it’s really about a young woman who wants to live her own life. Tristana lives with Don Lope, an older man who takes care of her, but over time she begins to feel trapped and wants independence.
The book doesn’t rely on big events. It focuses more on relationships, choices, and emotions. None of the characters are completely good or bad, which makes the story feel more realistic.
It’s a short and easy read. Calm, simple and a quiet story about freedom, growing up, and finding your own path.

Atomik Alışkanlıklar – James Clear :
Bu kitap bence son yılların en faydalı ve en uygulanabilir kişisel gelişim kitaplarından biri. James Clear “devrim niteliğinde büyük değişiklikler” peşinde koşmak yerine, her gün %1 daha iyi olursan bir yılda kendini inanılmaz geliştireceğini anlatıyor. Ve bunu çok somut, bilimsel temelli ama asla sıkmayan bir dille yapıyor.
Kitapta en çok hoşuma gidenler:
-Küçük alışkanlıkların gücü: Bir alışkanlığı başlatmak için en ufak adımı bile atman yeterli diyor. Mesela spor yapmak istiyorsan “spor kıyafetlerini giy” bile başlı başına bir zafer.
- 4 Temel Kural (Make it Obvious, Attractive, Easy, Satisfying): Bunları hem iyi alışkanlıklar için nasıl kullanacağını hem de kötü alışkanlıkları nasıl yok edeceğini çok net anlatıyor.
- Ortamın önemi: İrade gücüyle değil, çevreni değiştirerek kazanıyorsun. Masanda çikolata duruyorsa direnmen çok zor, ama hiç yoksa sorun da yok.
- Kimlik değişimi: “Sigarayı bırakmak istiyorum” demek yerine “Ben artık sigara içmeyen biriyim” diye düşünmek çok daha etkili.
I honestly don’t even know where to start. I wanted to read this book because the title and the concept caught my attention, but I can say it wasn’t exactly what I imagined. Did I like it? Did I enjoy reading it? Was I curious about what would happen next? Yes. In fact, since I had already read some of the books mentioned in the list, it was easy to understand the references. It was also written in good English — in my opinion, around a B1-B2 level — understandable for intermediate readers, with an interesting concept.
Unfortunately, since the characters were of Indian background, there were some words and expressions I didn’t fully understand. I wish there had been explanations for them somewhere. They also talked about foods a lot, but I didn’t even know what most of them were.
Then there was the thing Aidan did… I understand that sometimes not everything needs to be explained, but I still wanted more hints about it. I liked the idea of the story progressing through different books, but when we finally got to the books that gave the chapters their titles, I didn’t really like that the character was reading completely different books instead.
The ending wasn’t bad, but it could have been better. I really liked Mukesh’s storyline and the friendships he made, but I can’t say I connected much with the main character, Leila. If you come across this book, I think it’s worth giving it a chance.
