Adındaki şakacı tavır, kitabın devamında hiç bulunmaz.Dünyanın sonu geldi hikayesi gibi görünse de aslında inancın suistimal edilmesi, aile bağlarının zedelenişi ve iki çocuğun erken yaşta büyümek zorunda kalışı , özet olarak böyle diyebilirim.
bir aile düşünün Rahip John adında bir adamın radyo vaazlarına inanarak dünyanın sonunun geleceğine ikna olmuş. Bu uğurda evlerini, tüm mal varlıklarını satıp parayı bu adama vermişler.
Ancak beklenen kıyamet kopmamış. Trajedi de tam olarak burada başlıyor.
Tamam dünya fiziksel olarak yıkılmamış ama bu ailenin dünyası tamamen yerle bir olmuş. Sokaklarda bir karavanın içinde uyuyan, aşevlerinden yemek yiyen ve umumi tuvaletlerde yıkanarak hayatta kalmaya çalışan kişiler haline gelmişler. Bu da ailenin bireysel kıyameti olmuş.

Be-ğen-me-dim. Kitabın bir yerinde "Müzeye gelip kapının önünde foto çektiler. Sonra da gittiler." diyor. Hem Türkçe hem de gezi anlayışı sıfır. Kitap da çok ayrıntılı. Hiçbir kısım aklımda kalmadı.
Reading witcher in english is fascinating. Even though its translated directly from Polish, English sometimes flattens the raw, gritty Slavic wit, but the dark atmosphere still punches through. I love how this book tears down pretty fairy tales. It shows a magical world ruined by ugly human realities such as injustice, racism, and violence. It proves that no matter the universe, human nature always brings the same disgusting problems. Since I’ve played all the games, I didn't have to build this world from scratch. I felt like I was returning home, totally immersed from page one. Plus, every character is so distinct you instantly adopt them. Dandelion, especially, is brilliant, his dramatic bard energy perfectly balances the grim reality. The core of the book for me is Geralt. He acts like a heartless mutant who only kills for coin, forcing himself to believe he has no feelings because society expects him to be cold. But underneath, he is incredibly soft hearted. I related to him deeply. People often call me emotionless too. But I know how much I actually care. When it matters, sometimes I act way more thoughtful and genuinely considerate than the people who constantly brag about how sensitive they are. Like Geralt, being guarded doesn't mean you don't feel. Some dislike that this is just a collection of scattered short stories, but I think it’s the perfect, low pressure gateway into the universe. It’s a fun, easy read that makes you feel both the darkness of the world and the hidden warmth of its hero.
I never thought that one day I would read and finish this book, but here I am — I read it, I finished it, and just as I expected, it turned out exactly that way. The Love Hypothesis is a book full of clichés but with the “I’m going to break the clichés” kind of attitude.
I’m not even sure where to start. I don’t know if I actually liked the book, but I enjoyed reading it. It flowed really well, so I can’t complain about that part. However, Olive constantly talking about how big Adam was started to annoy me. I wanted to tell her, “Yes, we get it, he’s a big guy. You don’t have to remind us every ten seconds!”
After that, their dialogues… I don’t know, they felt really ridiculous to me. It was less of a romantic comedy and more of a romantic nonsense kind of story. But it was the type of book that didn’t require much thought, was easy to read, and flowed nicely. I already know that once I finished it, I wouldn’t think about it again.
The movie adaptation is coming. I’m not sure if I’ll watch it, but maybe I will just to clear my mind and have something easy to watch.
Bir gün bu kitabı okuyup ve bitireceğimi hiç düşünmezdim ama işte buradayım, okudum ve bitirdim ve tahmin ettiğim gibi oldu. Klişelerle dolu ama ben klişeleri yıkmaya karar verdim havası ile love hypothesis kitabı. Nereden başlasam emin değilim. Kitabı beğendim mi, ondan bile emin değilim ama okurken keyif aldım, yani akıp gitti okurken. O kısımda bir sorun yoktu ama olive'in sürekli adam ne kadar büyük demesi sinir bozucuydu. Kendisine gidip evet anladık, o büyük biri. Bunu her on saniyede bize hatırlatmana gerek yok! Sonrasında aralarındaki diyaloglar, bilmiyorum çok saçma geldi. Romantik komediden çok, romantik saçmalıklar üzerine bir kurguydu ama kafayı yormayan, akan ve bittiğinde bir daha
I like not knowing about some things. Yes. I like it. Because it feels comfortable to me. I take refuge in the comfort of saying "I don't know." I read the Elephant Man story for the first time in this book. But I didn't know it was a famous story and based on a true event. Absolutely. So I'm glad I read it without knowing anything about it. Because it didn't affect my feelings.
I did a simple reading and I have simple feelings. Not exaggerated. The Elephant Man was a human and never a creature. Monster or creature. He was human. What about the other people? They are prejudiced. As always. I think the real creatures are the other people. Because they wounded a wounded person again and again. That evil requires having an evil heart. Right? Clear... Apart from that. The book is very easy to read because when I didn't know a word, I looked up its meaning on the next page. It was very comfortable. I didn't use a dictionary. Besides, this was a first-level reading. Beginner level. I will watch the movie. Of course, I will watch it in English. Because I made a promise to Professor Akif. Just like he promised Fuat Sezgin.
