I honestly don’t even know where to start. I wanted to read this book because the title and the concept caught my attention, but I can say it wasn’t exactly what I imagined. Did I like it? Did I enjoy reading it? Was I curious about what would happen next? Yes. In fact, since I had already read some of the books mentioned in the list, it was easy to understand the references. It was also written in good English — in my opinion, around a B1-B2 level — understandable for intermediate readers, with an interesting concept. Unfortunately, since the characters were of Indian background, there were some words and expressions I didn’t fully understand. I wish there had been explanations for them somewhere. They also talked about foods a lot, but I didn’t even know what most of them were. Then there was the thing Aidan did… I understand that sometimes not everything needs to be explained, but I still wanted more hints about it. I liked the idea of the story progressing through different books, but when we finally got to the books that gave the chapters their titles, I didn’t really like that the character was reading completely different books instead. The ending wasn’t bad, but it could have been better. I really liked Mukesh’s storyline and the friendships he made, but I can’t say I connected much with the main character, Leila. If you come across this book, I think it’s worth giving it a chance.

I've never read a book that was both so complex and so organized at the same time as this one. Metafiction, fragmented structure, questioning metanarratives, posthumanism, postcolonialism, and all the "post-" are combined in this book. The book's self-reflective nature and its direct conversation with the reader have made it one of my favorite books written from a second-person perspective. It has a style that leads the reader into paradoxes, confuses them, and definitely broadens their horizons. Especially the stories that follow each episode are like a narrative version of the main plot of that episode. For example, in the first chapter, we, as readers, embark on a journey. A reading journey. The title of the next chapter is "If on a winter's night a traveler". So it's about someone who's embarked on a journey, a traveler. But this episode is cut short, and our character's journey is interrupted. Just like we, the readers, are constantly interrupted by the narrator throughout this book. There's a mystery in this chapter. We don't know what that mystery is. We also encounter a mystery while reading this book; which book are we reading? Why is the book incomplete? Where is the rest? And in the next chapter, we, the readers, are on the hunt for the continuation of the previous story. We go to the bookstore and find another story that could be a sequel. But this story we found has been replaced by the main story. Just like the main plot of the story we are about to read. So throughout the book, we, the readers and narrators, speak first, taking on an active role. At the end of each chapter, we read a different story. And these stories are like continuations of the previous chapter's narrative. This rather confusing book achieves its purpose: it bores the reader. But

Honestly, I don’t even know where to start. I never expected this book to completely draw me in like this. It actually surprised me multiple times. Just when I thought I had figured everything out and knew what was going on, I realized the author had tricked me again. There were so many unexpected events. From the very beginning, it feels like we were reading a lie. Wow… Especially the way the story shifts between the present and the past… I’m once again grateful that I know English. The reason I picked up the book was because it was the audiobook Taylor listened to in the Eras Tour documentary. I wish I could have listened to it as an audiobook too, but still—it was truly a great experience. It was very engaging to read, constantly making me wonder what would happen next, where everything was heading… And I also loved how everything was tied together in the end. Especially the final sentence was beautiful. Açıkçası nereden başlasam bilemiyorum. Bu kitabın beni böyle alıp sarmasını hiç beklemiyordum. Hatta kitap resmen beni birden fazla kez şaşırttı. "When she looks back to the island she sees only the pines, drawn closed like a curtain

I have just finished the book Normal People by Sally Rooney. Overall, to me, it seemed like a normal book: an enjoyable drama, thrilling and addictive. However, there was still a question: what was I reading about? I think this happened because I had high expectations. But who set them? I think it was because it was everywhere, I mean so many people recommended this book. Even when I opened the front page, famous people's quotes were there, and it was awarded so many times. But to me, it still does not make any sense why it got so many awards. Who decided that this book is actually "good"? What is even a good or bad book? It is up to people’s preference, no? So, I think to me this was just an average drama. But what makes this book good to me are the two perfect characters, two normal people. Also, as a side note, maybe the reason I thought this was just an average book is its topic. It was literally about two normal, ordinary people, people we can see at university. There was nothing extraordinary, fancy, or miraculous. Reviewing the two main characters is a good beginning. I would like to start with Marianne. While I was reading about Marianne, the one thing I agreed with once more is that we accept the love we think we deserve; we accept the behavior we think we deserve. That is why it’s important to have self-love and self-respect. Because if you don't love yourself or respect yourself, you will accept disrespect from others as well. Deep inside, you think you deserve it and feel no need to fight it. She had literally no value towards herself. I believe there are many people like this, but for her, it was at the lowest point. Connell is a typical person who lives for the acceptance of society. He was so afraid of loneliness that he agreed to fit in anywhere he

Aiden and Lucie My second book from this author. First one was Good Spirits which was a magical and beautiful read. This book was romantic and also hilarious It is a cosy read and I feel like I'm soft and floating in the air. Aiden works in a radio station hosting Romance Hotline. He is so scared of losing someone who he loves that he deliberately pushes people from his life and he ends up forgetting how to love someone. He is desperate when Lucie came to his life. Lucie's daughter, Maya called Romance Hotline one night to take an advice about her mom. And everything started like that. Lucie got involved the show and together they hosted the Romance Hotline and slowly fell in love each other. However, Aiden was in denial most of the time. When he accepted he was in love with Lucie, I'm sooo happy because he found his magic All the time, they live next to each other but never had a chance to meet. They just orbited each other. Can you imagine how many chances did they miss before Maya called the radio station? Everything meant to be and in the end, they met and lived happily ever after.

Marlow and Dylan... I'm hooked from the get go I love this author's writing style. Perfect combination of soft romance and perfect spice... I'll definitely read all of her books from now on starting with completing this series. Marlow is an artist who just moved in next door of Dylan and has a dog named Waffles. Dylan is a single dad who is handsome and billionaire. His daughter Lola aka Ladybug is adorable Dylan has been in love with her from the beginning. However, he holds himself because of the age gap (he is 33 and she is 23) and also Lola is his only priority. Slow burn and the tension of this romance got me from the start and I couldn't stop myself reading it in 9 hours. Everything is perfect. Dylan likes ordering and him saying GOOD GIRL in the bedroom... OMG! The scene in Marlow's art studio I want more about those kind of scenes. Pretty please Him saying SUNSHINE to her and also cooking for her and leaving notes showing how much he cares for her and planting flowers in his garden for her and.... This list goes on like this. Actually, I want a Dylan in my life, too. Marlow is a lucky bitch. I envy her Also, Dylan's mom, Johanna is best at playing matchmaker I really appreciate of her effort in both If you give a Grump Holiday Wishlist and If you give a single dad nanny. I'm curious about what she'll do for her grumpy son, Harrison On the other hand, The grandma in the Windsors series by Catharine Maura is the worst. I hope she dies, BTW.
