If Jesus was all he claimed to be, then the standard interpretation of the Old Testament had to be revised. Early believers like Stephen discovered in the Hebrew Scriptures a greater and comprehensive message for the entire world that Israel had failed to embrace.
Birçok kişi LSI-R (Hizmet Seviyesi Envanteri-Gözden Geçirilmiş / Level of Service Inventory-Revised) gibi istatistiksel sistemlerin suçun tekrar etme riskini tartmada etkili olduğuna işaret edecektir.

The bill provided that five years after the revised treaties were signed, the entire country would be opened to foreigners to travel, live, and work where they pleased, with all the rights the Japanese enjoyed in trade or employment. In order to allay foreigners’ fears about Japanese laws, every effort would be made to secure their trust. The new laws would be based entirely on the legal principles prevalent in the West. All laws and regulations would be translated into at least one European language and would be distributed. When the bill was read, the German minister at once expressed his admiration for the bill’s plans for mutual benefit, praising particularly the generous guarantees to foreigners. He was followed by the ministers of Belgium, Portugal, Austria-Hungary, Holland, Spain, Italy, and Russia, all of whom agreed with the German envoy. Only Sir Harry Parkes, the British envoy, declined to join in the chorus of praise for the bill, saying that he would have to study it more carefully.
When major accidents occur, official courts of inquiry are set up to assess the blame. More and more often the blame is attributed to “human error.” The person involved can be fined, punished, or fired. Maybe training procedures are revised. The law rests comfortably. But in my experience, human error usually is a result of poor design: it should be called system error. Humans err continually; it is an intrinsic part of our nature. System design should take this into account. Pinning the blame on the person may be a comfortable way to proceed, but why was the system ever designed so that a single act by a single person could cause calamity?
Constantine’s acceptance of Christianity had an important influence on Roman law, for the emperor revised it in the light of Christian views. Crucifixion was abolished (for obvious reasons ) as a means of execution. He also abolished the gladiatorial games which so many associated with Christian martyrdom. The law turned a more benevolent face on those things of which Christianity approved, such as celibacy, and a harsher one on those of which Christianity disapproved, such as divorce. His attitude toward paganism also made itself felt. He prohibited the erection of his own statue in pagan temples and removed the representation of pagan gods from his later coins. As reward, he felt free to appropriate the wealth of pagan temples to state use. Both Constantine’s acceptance of Christianity and his establishment of a new capital ended by having an important effect on the structure of the religion as well.

Ham’s (or Canaan’s) castration of Noah has been excised from Genesis just before the line: ‘Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his little son had done unto him.’ The revised version, a moral lesson in filial respect, sentences Ham to perpetual servitude under his elder brothers for no worse a crime than accidentally seeing his father’s nakedness.
