that was the second time i read this and this time it was an english translation of the original. at the last time, i read this play with turkish translation and i won't hesitate to say that the turkish translation is ten times better than the english one, for these publishers at least. i read it from penguin publishing house and it was mid, as i can say. but it was still joyful to reread this play in another language and think about the things that are happening in a different point of view than the other. i felt there are little differencies on the events too but those are probably the translators' choices of continuing of the story. also thanks to the informations i had after reading it for the first time, it felt easier to understand some stuff they talked about at the second reading.
i know this play is worth reading even for the third time and how much would i want to read it in its original language, in ancient greek next... perhaps that can happen in the future, who knows?
