"Fena, pek fena..." Tavrını değiştirerek: "Âlem düğünle meşgul! Nene lazım oraları sorarsın? Herkesin tasası sana mı düşmüş!"
"Yoook! Bir erkek için hastalanan, bir herife varmak için para verenlere acırım da onun için, yoksa..."
Perhaps what we should do is actually encourage our children to say no And Listen to and respect them when they do. Obviously if they are saying "no" to eating any vegetables you're gonna have to call rank with them on that one. But if they don't wanna hug creepy Aunty Meredith, who they've only just met. then maybe don't make them. Women are socialized from such an early age to prioritize pleasing others over their own feelings. If we stop doing that. then more women are going to be empowered throughout their life to take themselves away from situations they aren't enjoying.
We have to stop playing along with the narrative that men are entitled to sex, that just because a man is a "nice guy". or because he takes a girl out on an extravagant date. Or because it's Valentine's Day and he took his girlfriend to Paris, he somehow deserves sex. Men are only entitled to sex when someone else wants to have sex with them. and for no other reason.
